  • @binqasimleo ....because I totally don't have 8 more videos uploaded explaining what you just asked for >_>

  • please see your inbox

  • we have the same monitor

  • @GRJimmis7 which monitor is it , i need it?

  • @IAmJamieMurray acer AL1916W :)

  • Can't I create a new separate partition for the Mac OS X and while it's still empty, convert it to a GPT (GUID) partition, then install the Mac OS?

  • @Nonaso2 Yeah, I'm totally going to re-do a 2 year old video >_>

  • I already have Win7. If I boot OS X into it, so I have Win7 AND Mac, will I still have my files on Win7?

  • What about to install Ubuntu after all that?

  • You, sir, are awesome!

  • What if I already have Windows 7 installed first?

  • the mac effects?

  • cool sept 19, my bday =D

  • i like the video but the mac link has ben changed...!!!!!!!!! so please give me another link

  • idk if u knew this but ur 1st link to "Mac OS X Snow Leopard" that link doesnt work

  • I did the install of SL on External... but now how do i get to what you have. im trying to do what you did to your 500 GB. So far i have SL on it and is working fast.. whats next, do i need to partition it and install windows 7 from a windows computer or from my mac.

  • @DonnieGQ Install Windows 7 on a blank partition or on another hard drive on that same computer, download EasyBCD and re-add the Mac OS X boot entry.

  • @Wixdfast2 I also got an acer pc!!!

  • what size screen is that and how much did you pay for it?

  • Why Install Mac OS X first?

    Can't I add Mac OS X to windows 7?

  • @DuveltjeBoem The hard drive needs to be in a GUID format. Chances are you have Windows installed on an MBR format.

  • That's wicked

  • one wonders how did you change the screen resolution and not always able to change 1024x768

  • @carlos19920403 I got the resolution fixed on my desktop and my laptop when I upgrade to Snow Leopard

  • its actualy easier ifu switch to unbentu then download it on that is leagal not sayin it wasnt helpful but i got it way easier a dn it works awesome

  • @TheNoway2yesway If you own a Mac OS X disc, this isn't illegal. It's "Ubuntu", not "Unbentu", and I just say Windows as an example because most people who do this still want Windows installed

  • This didnt work. Got stuck on chameleon

  • @BlocklandLover The rights kexts weren't installed and/or the wrong kexts were installed then

  • you look like a guy who chases storms and is on discovery channel

  • @toonheaded1 Yes, if your videocard is able to run Quartz Extreme in Mac OS X. Most modern GPUs can run it just fine.

  • wow dis vid showed no examples on how to install mac or partition the hard drives or where to even download the mac .iso(s)

  • @MrWeezyxD The wrong kexts were installed. Which ones did you try, what is your hardware, and which LeoHazard disc did you use?

  • @Wixdfast2 i Burned , Snow Leopard 10 And Installed It. i Dont Know What's My Hard Disk . But i Fixed It. I Put My Windows 7 Ultimate Back :) So Im Good.

  • You will get Windows7 right here:

    downloadblinks(dot)com

  • u r really cute

  • Is it necessary to first install Mac OS X? I have already installed Windows 7

  • @MrProyectomercury Yes because you need to parition the drive and format the drive as Mac OS Extended Journaled

  • I love how you figured this out on my birthday! :p

  • Your hair looks like a dual-boot of spikey hair and a buzzcut lol.

  • @cheeezstik Haha, yeah, this was filmed during my first week of college

  • @Wixdfast2 Your hair sorta reminds me of Simons hair from the inbetweeners.

  • How to install the drivers from kext . com ? How to install it on mac?

  • @TheWinmedi Use KextUtility

  • It works, but how to get the internet to work?

  • @TheWinmedi Get a kext for your ethernet from kexts . com

  • For some reason, even after installing BCD, Macintosh HD won't show up at the boot screen? Please help.

  • @iAppletechreviews Did you add the boot entry for Mac using the Mac boot entry in EasyBCD? And have you installed Chameleon off of the Mac OS X installation disc?

  • @Wixdfast2 Yeah I installed Chameleon. I added the boot entry in EasyBCD but it couldn't detect the partition.

  • @iAppletechreviews Did you format the partition to be a GUID and Mac OS Extended?

  • Thankyou heaps!

  • HELP so i put in the boot thingy and it starts to load but then all of a sudden my computer just shuts down what do i do? HELPP

  • @XBeIieve Have you configured your BIOS the way that I have instructed on my website?

  • @Wixdfast2 my hard drive is in AHCI but i cannot find HPET or the power manage ment...

  • @XBeIieve Which BIOS and which version do you have?

  • @Wixdfast2 A phoenix securecore(tm) and version is 1.26

  • @XBeIieve There should be a Power section of the BIOS, like the 4 tab over. I've never used Phoenix BIOS, so I'm not 100% with them

  • @Wixdfast2 nope i checked no power section, and well i kinda have 2 problems now i got my computer to the installation screen using 10.6.6i using the commands cpus=1 busratio=20 arch=i386, so after installling it, it tells to restart so i restart, i can hear the introduction music in the background but my screen is just stuck on the apple logo with the wheel spinning =/

  • @XBeIieve When you get the Chameleon bootloader, type "enablegraphics=yes" and press enter

  • @Wixdfast2 i did that, but now it doesnt show the apple screen, instead it is a pixelated screen =/ i am using a gateway nv5942u intel i3-370m 4gb ram 500gb hdd and ati radeon hd 5650 1gb

  • @XBeIieve Which kexts did you select during Installation?

  • @Wixdfast2 Sorry for a late response, i used Graphics_Enabler, ForceHPET, Chameleon_RC5, Legacy Kernel, ATY_Init, VoodooHDA_0.2.7.2, VoodooPS2Trackpad, VoodooBattery, VoodooPower, LegacyAHCI_PIIXATA, NTFS, DSDT_Patcher, X11.

  • Can I add Mac OS to my current Windows 7 harddrive without deleting the data I have on it now?

  • @ThisIsDjYigytugd Technically, it's slightly possible, but the best answer is no. The reason why I always install Mac OS X first is because you'll need to format the drive to a Mac compatible format, thus, you'll lose all previous data.

  • Comment removed

  • @Wixdfast2 Could I not go into Disk Managament on my Windows 7 partition and make a new partition and format it for Mac (not sure if it is MS-DOS or what) and than install Mac OS on that partition?

  • @ThisIsDjYigytugd Well, Mac OS X doesn't care how you make the partition, but the only thing that it does require is that it's formatted as a Mac OS Extended Journaled. So, use whatever program your prefer to make the partition, and just use the Disk Utility in the install disc to format it to Mac OS Extended Journaled

  • is the chameleon bootloader mandatory? i find it annoying and id rather not install it. please answer!

  • @TheSmrtMouth Um, well, you can use a bootloader like Chimera, but honestly, I've had the best success with Chameleon working properly in the past

  • why do you look so worn out?

  • @TheSmrtMouth Haha, I think this was like the first week of my freshmen year of college. Naturally I look way more tired than usual

  • Hey, the mac os x link is borken, please another link ?

  • @TheWinmedi Go to kexts . com and look for the correct ethernet kext

  • @12BrockLesnar12 Back up all your important files, format the drive, install Mac OS X, then install Windows.

  • Hi, I did the exact process that you describe in an acer aspire and it works very well, but in a vaio EasyBCD didnt add the boot entry (do you know why) On the aspire i didnt install any bootloader, but the vaio shows me an error if i tryed no to intall the boot loader. I used iAtkos S3.

  • how much ram do you need

  • @ELFERNANDO17 I'd say a minimum of 512MB, but you might be able to get away with 256MB. It's not terribly resource-heavy

  • @Wixdfast2 thanx i actualy got away with 14kb of ram thanx

  • @theBrenb Why would I want to do it in an hour? It takes me 27 minutes flat with my method. And yes, I've tried that method, but I never made a video of it.

  • can you upgrade os x snow leopard to lion

  • @arnoldjohnson100 I'll be uploading a video on how to do install Lion within the next few days hopefully

  • can i do windows 7 first, instead? cos my win 7 by default

  • @FOOPSPY123 The reason I always install Mac OS X first is because it will require tweaking and you might need to reformat a few times in order to get it right. That's why I suggest doing Mac OS X first and then Windows

  • hello, how make for audio and video driver, help me please.

  • @TheRyanul78 It's a free site that everyone uses. I don't understand why you're worried

  • @TheRyanul78 Or free webhosting...but believe whatever you'd like

  • Thanks for the vid dude, loved it :D but i think the reason your external wasnt working as a booting drive (and dont quote me, im just tryin to help) is because i think you either didnt have a bootable partition on it, or the bootable partician was corrupted. what id do is plug it up as an external, and install the operating system of your choice, with the external HDD as the destination. then in the BIOS, set it to boot from the external. Hope i could help :)

  • no hizo nada

  • can i put it back?

  • Dude lovely. Thanks a lot . .

  • i never got iATKOS to boot. even from the dvd.

  • @pikefan23 if u have the intel dvd and u used it on an am d processor, i think u can guess what happened also check if the dvd is 64 or 32 bit.this kind of stuff hppens

  • how much space we ganna need for mac os coz mine hdd is not like 300gb its only 80gb

  • WHY DO I NEED A WINDOWS CD!>?!!!?!!

  • @reptilefinatic22 Because Windows is going to be removed when you reformat the HDD

  • @Wixdfast2 could'nt you create a new partition

  • @reptilefinatic22 because windows is really good and it is worth its money

  • what if i just make 2 partitions with ideneb one for mac and one for win7?

  • echo much

  • hi, i have windows 7 already installed, can i install mac os without erase windows 7 ?

  • never mind i just realized i dont have easybcd -_- *facepalm*

  • i have installed ideneb successfully on a paratition of my 465gb hdd and it wont let me choose between win7 and osx

  • @The1PublicEnemy What computer do you have? Desktop or Laptop? why didn't you go with the retail version of Snow Leopard? Destro's are garbage and full of mistakes and are slower and mostly won't let you update! It's so simple to install retail SL on laptops now then before and have full benefit of the OS.

  • In fact, I'm typing this comment on a Gateway T-series with a 99% perfect retail Snow Leopard installed and updated to 10.6.8 getting ready for Lion anytime soon. This Gateway T-series is a 2 yr old, $300 or less laptop but with advantage of a Macbook Pro 6,2 power and a 15" WXGA crisp HD screen. This little laptop with OSX 10.6.8 even 2 finger scroll, Airport Extreme wifi card and all goodies is now worth triple its value... Retail all the way...

  • @LALOMAN18 and i dont want to buy retail

  • @The1PublicEnemy WHO sAID you need to buy retail..... when I say go retail I mean download a legit exact retail version of Snow Leopard that is clean and unthouched (moded). Download it form a torrent website... Dude you need common sense and a little effort in searching!

  • Comment removed

  • "why didnt you go with the retail version?" - you, by retail i assume you mean buy at a store, official would have been a better word. I have searched a lot about this, to have an official version work you need similar or exact hardware as the real macs (or past ones ie: c2d cpus) do otherwise you have driver problems and no compatibilty with certain hardware. distros have compatibility fixes and drivers. my computer is also an amd pc so that is why i choose distro.

  • @The1PublicEnemy meant to reply to LALOMAN18

  • @The1PublicEnemy Actually you are wrong there... Distro is only good if you have an un-supported CPU like AMD then Distro would be the choice! Nawcome ModCD is a bootloader with AMD + Intel support. Drivers? Thats why many bootloaders come with 'pre or post-installation' setup program with the latest drivers that work for an easier & smooth boot and use of retail Snow Leopard! I've tried them all and 'iBoot' + 'Multibeast' is the best as of right now! Retail SL is the best with less hard work!

  • Ok.... you should've started by stating that you're on AMD.... Try Nawcom's ModCDx86 bootloader, it will make SL think you have an Intel CPU and lets you install it. anyways,,,, any Intel dual core cpu will work with SL. The little Gateway T-Series that I just finished installing and updated SL to 10.6.8 is infact a Pentium Dual Core & SL reads it as a Core 2 Duo, therefore is ready for Lion anytime soon.

  • @LALOMAN18 yes bootloaders make it easier if i had an incompatible system

  • @FullDisneyEpisodesO1 You're a rookie.... don't even try doing anything since you will screw up anyways.. it takes weeks to understand the right method, trial after trial and error..... It took me more than a month to finally have a full retail version of Snow Leopard with everything working correctly on my laptop... not only do you have to learn how to do this but also how to fix SL once it screws up from you trying out different kexts and changing SMBIOS and com.apple.boot.plist insertions!

  • do i HAVE to reinstall windows 7? and do i have to do a clean installation?

  • @ninja9281 Yes... you noobs ain't doin't much research... There's plenty of websites that you have to read of different methods on how to do this. Like I said below, it takes a tremendous time to install right, configure, dual boot, fix if non of your systems boots, have a copy of both systems in order to fix your partitions, inject kexts, how to enter OSX from behind & fix it if it won't boot, trial & error and lots of time! you are not going to succeed on the first time! do some real search!

  • PLEASE ANSWER ITS AN EMERGENCY

HOW DO YOU START WINDOWS AGAIN??!!!

    i followed maltonges tutorial

  • @ccaian1 lol..... you are screwed rookie! you will need your windows install disk to fix it!

  • @LALOMAN18 i reinstalled windows

    i have the disk

i was asking if how to start it when i have both system. My mac couldn't connect to the internet cause i couldn't install drivers. So how did you connect to the internet??!!

  • @ccaian1 Don't understand your question. you have a Mac or you mean on your mac partition? To install drivers you will need a little program called "Kext Helper B7" for mac. To dual boot install a little program called "EasyBCD v1.72 or v2.0.2" in windows & install it. There's tutorial on Youtube on how to use this program. To boot into your mac again in order to install Chameleon you need to enter from your bootloader disk again. Use a pre or post-installation that installs the needed kexts!

  • @LALOMAN18

forget it, i used a virtual machine to try mac, and it sucks

mac is plain and ugly and missing alot of convenient things from windows, i don't want it any more

  • @ccaian1 Realy? It seems you just gave up! lol... I did a video a while ago showing the icandy of SL running on my powerful Asus G2S gaming laptop! Any OS is boring without any 3rd party apps, cool themes, and customization to your liking! I have Win 7 and OSX SL 10.6.8 in dual boot and both work flawless! I spend most time on the OSX side tweeking it and learning indepth of the OS! Windows is also boring without doing any of the above.

  • If you just go online, watch youtube, do some homework, basic to maderate work, then OSX is great because you don't have any Anti-virus programs slowing down your system as it is in Windows.... Windows would be for more power using like 3D rendering in Maya, 3DS Max, After Effects, Gaming, hard calculations of Data input... etc...

  • can someoe help me out...i have a gateway laptop(win7) and an actual retail snow leopard disc...everything went fine till i restarted and i clicked on nst mac and it said im missing a boot mngr...when i try to install chameleon, winrar just opens with a bunch of files...what am i doing wrong or need to do

  • Awesome tutorial man, thanks a lot homie. This didn't completely help me and I found this tutorial which was pretty helpful too. But otherwise thanks a Million!

    //hubpages.com/_xu7vv63x88ht/hub/How-to-Dual-and-Triple-Boot-Windows-7-Apple-Mac-OS-X-and-Ubuntu-910

  • I dont undestand why you need to install that ugly interface EasyBCD, when you can just go to command prompt using any intallation CD from Windows (XP,Vista,7 any would do) by using repair and type Disk Part > List Disk > Select Disk 0 ( or whatever number your disk is, ussually the first one is 0) > List Part (a.k.a.Partition) > choose (where ever you installed your windows for ex: Part 1) > Select Part 1 > then type "Active" (then restart and you will be greeted by the beautiful mac's bootldr)

  • @shadysmurff The EasyBCD part takes literally 30 seconds. I think anyone could stand a "ugly interface" for that long, plus it's easier than your method.

  • @Wixdfast2 i agree with you, but i see where hes going with it to.
