the consist should be baggage, transition sleeper, sleeper, sleeper, coach, coach/baggage, lounge, diner, coach, coach, sleeper, ! and if you want to add mhc's that's your choice ! I wouldn't & I DONT !!!!!

The box cars Usally go in the back don't they. And theres no baggsge car. But altogether, it a pretty good train.

No, I am a railfan that has railfanned Amtrak all my life, and they never put the box cars in front of the baggae car or Superliners, unless they are the mail cars, which the ones in this vid are not. These box cars always go in the back.

The Empire Builder ran eith the MHC's on either end of the train. End of arguement.

The MHC cars can go on the front but the Boxcars do not have HEP connections so there would be no way to hook up the HEP cables from the locos to the cars, Baggage cars and a group of MHC cars had connections for HEP so the could be anywhere ihn the train.

one time I was at a show and on the N scale layout a guy had a flat car with one of thoe little cameras mounted on it. It was an Ntrak layout, and on one of the other mains a lady had her Coast Starlight Amtrak set running, it was really neat watching when the camera train cught up behind the Starlight, and *really* cool when the camera car derailed and knocked over the last couple cars of the Starlight...that camera car derailed a few times as I reacll...
