  • so many stupid parts to change headlights xD i hate modern cars

  • question... can the fog lights be adjusted?? just got mine and installed, but noticed the fogs need to be adjusted a bit also how do i add the inverter to the angel eyes??

  • Gentlemen,

Thanks for the video. This stopped me from tearing up my front end.

  • Awesome, thanks. This is the first video I've found that actually shows you how to change a headlight and not just the bulb.

  • i own a 1998 mk4, is it still the same way? link to product please?

  • @RiKKuXd28 sorry this product will not fit with your 98. however, we do have headlights for your model. visit us at k2motor.com

  • the passenger side halos will no longer illuminate, my connection to the parking lights works fine, its the internals of the halos, i would like to exchange the passenger light for a new one, how do i do that?

  • @speacialperson12345 plz feel free to contact our customer service for any questions about exchanges.

  • @Specdtuninginfo i did, and hopefully new halo bulbs and wires will fix it, i dont see why not...

  • i have angel eye lights with HID projectors, i dont like the halo rins, would i have to take off the bumper just so i can cut the wire to disable my halo rings?

  • @xXxPH8LxXx you should be able to locate the wires after opening your hood, unless if something is in your way of getting to it.. you might have to remove whatever is there.

  • on my projectors that i bought they say "HID bulb NOT allowed" but on the description of the headlights it says you can upgrade to HID bulbs...is the sticker saying no HID bulbs in the highbeam part? bc i orderd HID's for the projectors which are the H1 bulb..

  • @speacialperson12345 yes for the projectors thats fine.. not for the High Beams

  • @Specdtuninginfo ok, sorry for the confusion, i saw the sticker and was like what? these are not HID compatible? and if u get back to me, is there any extra wiring for the HID's when i get them? or will they work like the ones for my stock housings? thanks

  • @speacialperson12345 the kit should be plug-n-play

  • @Specdtuninginfo i bought the HID's from a different website, like not from k2motor . com, i dont think it will be hard anyway...

  • which ones are low beam and which ones are high beam? are they exactly like stock? bc i just bought the ones w/out the led strip at the bottom and am jw.

  • @speacialperson12345 as far as these projectors go, your big projector is low, your square projector is high, and your small projector is fogs.

  • @Specdtuninginfo ok, well do these fit the H7 HID bulb type? bc that's what i have in my stock housings atm.

  • gonna to do this next week :)

  • those led's on the golf look gay, but the halo's look pretty niceeee

  • @rtsoccerplayer Everyone has different taste, the halo's do look great though!

  • Sweeeeet!

  • how much would these cost to order for a 98 Toyota Supra?

  • @brizzlefizzle We are sorry, but we only have headlights up to the 93 Supra. And we cannot make particular headlights. Thank you

  • Protip: Dont tug the bumper like that to get the screws below the headlights. You are obviously doing both headlights at once so just slide the bumper off, you've already removed all of the hardware at this point. Its no more difficult and may save you scratching your bumper!

    great looking lights!

  • NICE!

  • @14vwgolf Indeed. Also, a big difference in the style. Thank you for your comments.

  • amazing headlights love the look of them

  • @eman3199 I agree, they totally kicked it up a noch on this one, thanks for the comments.

  • i have a quick question..i have an 04 golf gl and i wanted to make sure that the headlights r able to work on my car because i dont think i have fog lights for my model car.. thanks in advance

  • @eman3199 Yes, the lights will work for the 2004 Golf. The fog light is just an extra function on the lights, they do not have to be hooked up. Thank you

  • @Specdtuninginfo . thanks and do u have to wire the halo and led lights into the wires or r they connected to the main power source with the regualr headlights?

  • @eman3199 Correct, the headlights will need you to wire the power source to the parking lights. That way, the halo rings lights will come on when the headlights are on. Thank you

  • @Specdtuninginfo so that other video u have made showing how to wire the led/halo lighrs on a projector healight is what i have to follow in order to have the halo/leds working on my car?

  • @eman3199 Correct, the other video is the guide that will help you with the hook up on the (2-4) wires that will be from the projectors. All you need is to splice the negative and positive wires to the car. Thank you

  • @Specdtuninginfo thanks. so then from this the led/halo lights will become my daytime running lights?

  • can you tell me how to install the LHP-GLF99-TM that i just bought from specdtuning to my vw gti v46 2003. i can install it physically no problem i need help with the wiring.

  • The wires that are two red is for power, and the two black are for ground. By tapping (splicing) the power (red) to the bumper lights and tapping the ground (black) to the bumper lights too. Check out our Halo installation Video so you can get an idea of what I listed.

As for the 3 wire plug, the plug is for the headlight motor. However, your new projectors have no motor in it. (but they made it anyways) Just tape up the wire ends and place them aside.

  • This head lamps just screaming .Great video.thanks

  • Thanks so much for your comment. We look forward to bringing you more of the videos of many more applications of cars. Take it easy!

  • @poundflicker Thanks so much for the comments. We look forward to bringing you more videos in the future.

  • Your video helped me a lot! Yesterday i simply change the lights and saw that i dont have fog light option. I have just one stupid question... Can I connect fog light on long light? this would be only temporary. Sorry for my english.

  • Because the fog light is just a regular bulb inside (1156,1157) it does not require a lot of current to run it. You an tap them into your turn signals or bundle them up with the halo/led. thanks

  • I have one question. On my golf 4 2002 I have headlights without foglights.

Can i replace them with original lights with foglights inside and i will also replace a light switch witch have option for front and rear foglights, not only for rear. Will this work?

  • Yes, you can by pass the fog lights on the projector by making your own relay an switch if your car does not have a fog light option. The switch will make it possible for you to have the flog light, but might need its own power source. Hope that it helped. Thank you

  • i don't want to change my lights but i want to clean them. there is dust inside them. how can i remove the dust and make them clean? is it possible?

  • first be away if the lens is dirty from teh inside or outside. Many lights come with the housing and lens fused together with silicone. [please see how to seal headlights video] If you can detach the lens from housing, you can carefully clean the inside with a clean wet water cloth. Then use the seal your headlights video to put them back together. Option #2 buy the aftermarket because its cheaper than the labor of professionals to clean them. visit k2motor website.

  • @Specdtuninginfo thanks for the reply. I appreciate that.

  • Thank you for your inquiry. We hope that it worked out for you. Let us know if there are any other questions that we might be able to help you with.

  • where do i get these lights from? how much are they?

  • you can get these headlights at k2motor(dot)com, it is in the Projector Headlights Lights section. You will find the Chrome and Black to select. Price starting at $294.95

  • Thanks for the video. It helped me simply change my bulbs.

  • No Problem, if you have any questions just drop us a line we will be more then happy to help you

  • nice vid bro~ clean warehouse too hahahah

save me bunch of times from taking off the grille to taking off the bumper

  • Thank you so much, if need anything please feel free to drop a line.

  • nice vid, just wondering how bright are the LEDs? i know is kinda hard to explain but how close will you say that it comes to the Audi's LEDs? can i just leave the LEDs on as a driving lights and what happen if the LEDs are burn on?

  • This R8 style Leds cannot be replace, what we can do is to help you return the item and exchange you out with a new one. Well this is an aftermarket headlights so we wont compare to AUDI, but what we can do is to film an night video, so that you can see the brightness of the LEDs and the headlights.

  • Most LEDs should last a VERY LONG time. So, I would not worry about them burning out. I would also like to see how they look during the DAY time.

Also, is it possible to use an HID bulb with these projectors?

  • Yes, the LED will last awhile before it burns out, as for the day time picture we will work on it and once is ready, please feel free to visit our website.

As for the HID, we dont recommend any aftermarket HID on these, but there are customer that we seen picture of that installed.
