Elite that is true. They were on a Am. dad, and Guitar hero 5 game. believe me, enough people have heard about them. It is just not the normal mtv/radio listening audience. Like many bands before them: primus, nofx, ween, flaming lips, tmbg, etc. they are right on the border of the mainstream and being a night club band. a great place to be if you ask me

no donluchitti, not "any genre" can be pop music.. popular doesn't indicate that the music is simply popular/well-known, it denotes a mainstream popularity which bands who actually have some credibility (i.e. MMJ) lack.. that is, they reject the normal, mass-produced, nickelback/hinder-type garbage

anyone that doesn't hear this guy's soul pouring out of every second of this song is deaf and dumb. THAT'S what sets these guys apart from bands like green day or nickelback or any other garbage radio band. you can tell they are dedicated to their craft and it shows.

what sets bands like these apart is they only have a hardcore following when bands hit mainstream the music people try to filter their work to appeal it to bigger numbers and sell more cd's (im from the uk they arent known here at all) its like when pendulum made a mainstream song (they normally do rave songs but this one was like a greenday song ) it was a no 1 and it was an ok song but the pendelum fans hated them for it. these are a true band they are a dying breed

@homersimpsonucf... I'm with you on Nickelback, but Greenday is really a great band. Greenday has more mass appeal than mmj I think, but mmj's music is on a much more profound level...their message is true, and the quality and talent are outstanding

@homersimpsonucf Dude just because these guys are having a strange dedication about their music doesn't mean that green day/nickleback suck... if that's your opinion (and also other 56 persons) it is wrong. You may not like those bands but it doesn't mean that by your declaration they are "garbage"...I like My morning jacket, but i also like green day. Is that possible? I guess so.

@SuperSerialnumber I can mostly agree with you on that.I think greenday is good. They kept mainstream punk alive in the 90's and have since faded. but they are still a good group. nickelback..... ehhhh. they kinda suck. haha.
