hmm, man kann zwar nicht wirlkich von einem Simulator sprechen, aber er checkt das!! Das Lenkrad is auch beknackt eingestellt wie es aussieht. Er muss ja schon voll einschlagen um eine recht dezente Kurve zu fahren. Das beste is ja das er schon interviews gibt während die anderen noch fahren. Man wär ich nur da gewesen, dann hätte er nur von meinem Auspuff schnüffeln dürfen.

I he even playing this??? because if he is then that steering wheel is really, REALLY unresponsive! At 2:12 he is even steering the opposite way to which the car is moving, on a straight.

On most corners he's on full lock with the car hardley turning..

He's either doing his PR bit and pretending to race on a rolling demo, or that is one seriously rubbish wheel.

Still, if he was actually playing then he did a damn good job lol

@phantomphreaq He's really playing this. You can hear the gear shifts and they are 100% synced with the gear shifts in game. You can't fake that.

personally i'd say he wasn't even driving, it was just a replay, he steers well before the car reacts, gotta be a setup, pre recorded race, if not this game will be really bad.

And for sure Adrian drives in arcade mode because in pro mode the other drivers are a little bit quicker. But Monza is also not the most difficult circuit.

I would agree that the contol of the car at a pit stop is the important factor. The car control, and the grip level are much more important. What really is good are the graphics. R-factor is nice but it doesn't really include whether conditions. I would say it's ok for the average racing gamers. All in all it's one of the best F1 racing games. but I'm not going to buy it, because I love physics like GTR-EVO and RB Rally. But if you like F1 and you don't insist on a hardcore game than go for it.

Today I was on the geamescom and raced the game for 3 rounds. I raced it in heavy rain and in "hardcore" simulation mode in Spa. Honestly it isn't realistic. I haven't driven a F1 car in real live but when I watch a race in rain conditions, F1 driver are struggling a lot more. Moreover I'm a real fan of Race and Gtr-Evo and thess games are much more what I would say are realistic. The biggest problem is that you have to much grip. I was able to go over the grass or the curbs without spinning.

The Game is very relistic, cause Adrian drove in Monza 2009 a laptime of 1:24,734 or so, and here he droev a 1:25,354 or so so this is very realistic ;)

i have seen the vids where no aids are being used. the car grips like its completely planted to the track. theres no reactions to bumps or cambers. someone can floor it, and the back end comes out like its Burnout. when someone applies opposite lock the car rights itself in a very linear way.

it looks nothing LIKE what happens on tv, the car looks totally unresponsive.

compare that to even the bmw f1 car that comes with rfactor, which is very sensitive to throttle application.

pitstop doesn't require skill???? Which is why drivers push to the limit going into the pits, where crucial seconds can be won or lost, braking to the limit at the pitlane line, and taking the pit entry as fast as possible, and parking in the box perfectly.

on top of that, driving the pits yourself and parking in the Box, not only fundamental in F1, but immersive in a game

@schumiisking LOL!! my god, i hope you're joking. f1 drivers put the speed regulator button once they enter the pit stop lane. everything is automatic, they only have to park the car in the box (even monkeys can do that). pushing the car to the limit (ON THE RACE TRACK) is challenging. they don't get millions for parking/using speed regulator buttons. by the way, the most important part of pit stop isn't the driver, the mecanics are. you don't even know the simple things of formula 1, how sad.

There is no better ad to the F1 game than watching a real F1 driver how he manages to not spin. I once saw an event when pro racing drivers were competing in some racing game and it was just one big mess, they were waving like hell. But then you know its just a game and they are not gamers.
