@MrCameronwilson You have every right to believe in what you wish but please try to have an informed opinion on the case, don't just trust what the McCanns PR team have spinned for the UK and for internal UK consumption, try to read the case files released by the Portuguese Attorney General's Office in July, 2008. A fine example of how people feel when the truth leaks outs. UK Government bailed them out. I wish they would send them back to face trial. Madeleine is only a cash cow. No evidence of an abduction but there is evidence to support the fact that Madelelne died in the apt 5A.
I suppose it woudnt be that Portugal needs a bailout. Never interfere with business people or worry them with moral concerns. Just bail the rich out! As we do in Ireland

@Imogen1885 no one did, the mccanns and their Tapas friends would only do a reconstruction, as asked by the police authorities, if various conditions were met, specifically if "it was televised" - something completely ridiculous, the police in Portugal don't do TV shows, they work as they should! The "reconstruction" alleged above was a made by Gerry McCann for a UK media documentary, as an answer to the one they, McCann, were able to ban via an injunction titled 'The Truth of The Lie' ...
sorry for the misspellings, it's late...;) check the former coordinating inspector of the Maddie case banned book and the banned documentary that was broadcast in Portugal, both based on facts - then check the McCanns 3 documentaries with contradicting versions.
