This is like the most awfull drawing I have ever seen in my life. It really looks like a five year old painting. And especially his name like 20 times bigger then the drawing.

The splats just sucked.

Dude...that was a horrible drawing, and i love Ralph. Haha and that sucks the paint dripped. He didnt want it to do that. It ruined an already sucky drawing by Ralph Steadman.

well yeah but, would you have thought of drawing it? we get posed this question alot in my college when someone comments on how easily they could have done that. not that you said that but its an arigional idea. its just one way to look at it.

This is representative of Steadman doing a self portrait while/as knackered. His work is defined by the fluidity and sloppiness of water media -india ink mostly - and rarely uses the 'drip-action' produced by vertical media. This is an artist entertaining others with a quick drunken sketch and as such should never be considered 'representative' of his art...

He is Ralph Steadman. He is most famous for his art depicting the late Hunter S. Thompson throughout his career. Gonzo Art. Fear and Loathing... ETC
