  • this is bullshit all research supports single sex classrooms.

  • My god people the answer is right here. It is the push for athletics vs academics. Look at asian vs african american. Africans are pushed towards athletics because of the media and culture etc. while asian americans again because of the media are pushed to excel at academics this is why Africans are seen as more masculine than Asian in general. Its the same with boys and girls athletics=masculine while academic=feminine. So if we make academics cool and masculine again boys will follow suit,

  • @papertreegun - Athletics and academics have nothing to do with each other. Athletics are an after school program and they actually help kids learn because they keep kids active and healthy. The problem is that schools are run by hardcore liberal feminists who hate sports and typically downgrade boys while they upgrade girls. Not to mention that the schools are ALL heavily feminized or the fact that girls are always encouraged to succeed while boys are neglected to succeed on their own.

  • Headlines like, "Girls are smarter than boys", "Women are better than men", "Women make better bosses", "The End of Men", "Girls are stronger than boys", "Girls rule, boys drool" clearly show the intent of feminism. Ever since the 1970s, there have been HUGE drives and pushes to help girls dominate boys and leave them behind. They even coined the phrase, "Girl power". That's sounds a lot like "White power" but only gendered. It's a supremacist cry to encourage females to dominate over males.

  • For the past 20 years all we've heard is "Girl power" and "You go girl". Too much focus has been placed on females and females are constantly encouraged to beat out boys. Boys get shamed if they beat girls out and boys get shamed if they lose to girls. Now I think boys just don't give a fuck anymore and are tired of the game that feminism never allowed them to have a chance to win at. It's always been about girls and girl power. Most teachers are feminists and female who give girls more credit.

  • @NautyKnight Blaming this on feminism is ridiculous. The problem is the whole macho culture that tells boys that being a "real man" is about being a tough guy, a bad-ass, a gangster, a thug, a womanizer, etc, etc. Boys who are smart, who get good grades, who read and think and are intellectual, are ruthlessly harassed BY OTHER BOYS. They get beat up, laughed at, called "pussies" and "faggots." I'm sorry, but this boys destroying other boys, not feminists destroying boys.

  • @fileboy2002 - Sounds like you're a sissy boy that wants other boys to become more "feminized" so that all men and women can run around like a bunch of cowardly pussies. And THAT'S the problem! People like you and other feminists that feel the need to *change* and redefine masculinity so that it better suits your less aggressive and more sissified nature. Sorry, but I rather think that masculinity in the traditional sense should be left intact because men are not supposed to be like women.

  • @NautyKnight Actually, I am 6'1", weigh 226 lbs, and can bench 365 lbs. If you saw me, you wouldn't dare call me "sissy boy" to my face. If you did, I'd quickly reduce your face to a bloody stain on the wall. But that's the point, really. Guys like you only talk tough online. Or you pick on other guys who are smaller and weaker than you. You build yourselves up by attacking easy targets, then puff your chests out about what "real men" you are. You're a weakling and a coward.

  • @fileboy2002 - My point has been made. YES!!! Let that aggression out brother cause it's MASCULINE AND MACHO!!! Now you're showing me that you're a real man again!!! Don't let women and feminism make a pussy out of you!!! You were born to kill and take the meat home to your woman to cook. You are a provider, protector, and a destroyer!!!! You are a man - and I'd like to say a BIG "FUCK YOU" to all the feminists out there that can't value your masculine nature!

    PS - BROS BEFORE HOS!!!

  • @NautyKnight Oh, for Christ's sake--are you serious or just yanking my chain? Let me get back to the topic. There are sometimes good reasons for getting all tough with people. But beating on somebody or humiliating him because he works hard and is a good student? That a dumb reason.

  • @fileboy2002 - I'm damn serious. You were acting like a little pussy until I challenged you. Thankfully you were able to bring out the masculine and macho side in your response. You don't have to thank me for saving your masculinity. If I hadn't come to your rescue you'd probably being wearing a skirt by now. Fucking feminism!

  • @NautyKnight Dude, you've got issues. Get help. No joke.

  • @fileboy2002 - No fileboy, You're just pandering to women like a chivalrous jack wagon. It's insulting to see you sell out your own gender by allowing feminists to ridicule masculinity as though it's a sub-trait compared to femininity or men as being 2nd class to feminine women. "Girls rule boys drool" is a superiority complex created by feminism. "Girl power" is like saying "white power". One is sexism and the other is racism. They're both superiority cries!

  • @NautyKnight I am not selling out my own gender, and who are you to tell me that? You don't make the rules about what it means to be a man. Some aspects of the masculinity you admire are good. Being strong is good. Standing up for yourself is good. But being anti-intellectual is also part of your vision of masculinity, and that's not good. That relegates too may men to shit jobs at low wages.

  • @fileboy2002 - So you're saying women are intelligent because of femininity and men are not because of masculinity? Not every masculine male is a dumb-jock! You watch way too many television sitcoms I think. You know, the ones that always depict males as dumb because they watch football and drink beer and their stay-at-home wife is as intelligent as a rocket scientist but she won't work because she doesn't want to "out man" her husband who needs her like a child needing his mother.

  • @NautyKnight I don't think being male or female has anything to do with intelligence. Nor do I think being an athlete makes someone dumb. What is I think that in our schools, boys who are strong and athletic get praised, while boys who are smart get bullied. There are exceptions, of course, but it happens a lot. This leads a lot of smart guys--including jocks--to deliberately hide how smart they are so other boys don't hassle them. It's a problem.

  • Comment removed

  • @fileboy2002 - If gender has anything to do with intelligence then how can you explain how girls are suddenly doing so much better than boys in schools and outnumbering males in colleges and Universities and how girls are more likely to earn their degrees compared to boys? Are girls actually superiority smarter, or is it the obvious - neglect and discrimination against boys! Ever since 1970 there's been a HUGE push for girls to achieve and nothing for boys but punishment for being boys!

  • @NautyKnight I said gender did NOT have anything to with intelligence! Try reading before responding.

  • @fileboy2002 - Try reading what I wrote again and try to make sense of it. It's really not that hard if you try. I'll help you out. It basically says that there is nothing wrong with boys and they are equal to females in intelligence. But something is very wrong in the school system and it's not macho boys (alpha males) picking on soft boys (beta males). That was what you tried to argue was the problem and not feminism which you tried to defend. But feminism IS the problem and not macho boys.

  • @NautyKnight You've given no evidence feminism is the problem, nor any evidence what I am saying about bullying being a problem is wrong. You're just asserting things with no evidence. I used to be a teacher. I can tell you from first-hand experience the influence of feminism in schools is almost zero. However, the bullying of "smart" boys by jocks and thugs is a HUGE problem. BTW, girls bully other girls, too. But girls usually don't get bullied for being smart.

  • @fileboy2002 - Oh please! Everybody knows that feminism has completely overrun the liberalized school system. Like 90% or more of teachers today are women and most of them are hardcore liberals with feminist ideologies of the future. Everything in schools became feminized in the 1970s and that by its nature makes it more difficult for boys to learn. It's a roadblock for boys and an express lane to learning for girls. The fact is, everybody encourages girls to best boys but never the other way.

  • @NautyKnight "Everybody knows" no such thing. Everything did not "get feminized" in the 1970s (what does that even mean?). And while the majority of teachers are women, they are not "90% or more." Plus, the vast majority of female teachers are NOT feminists. Once again, you show you have no command of the facts. You have no evidence. All you have is some deep hatred of feminism, or whatever you think feminism is. You don't know what you're talking about.

  • @fileboy2002 - You're really fucking dumb! You know exactly what I'm talking about so quit acting so fucking ignorant! There's PLENTY of evidence and there's many male educators who have come forward and admitted that feminism is what's holding boys back in school. There's no encouragement for boys to succeed. It's all been given to the girls. From the way they're taught to the very environment of the classroom. It's all feminized. Many males educators are calling for gender segregated schools!

  • @NautyKnight If there's PLENTY of evidence, then please, please show me some! Show me EVIDENCE that 90% of teachers are man-hating feminists. Show me EVIDENCE that feminism is holding boys back. Please show me EVIDENCE that ANYTHING you are saying is true! Saying "everybody knows" and simply repeating your claims over and over and over again is not evidence!

  • @fileboy2002 - I don't know if these feminist are deliberately man-hating feminists but that doesn't matter. The point of feminism today is female superiority. I can send you a link to a plethora of news articles that have been collected over the years to support this claim. Check your inbox for the link. I think many feminists don't understand what they are involved in. It's not about gender equality anymore. That's been passed 10 fold now.

  • @fileboy2002 - What I've proven here is this - Feminism can NEVER change the nature. You might be a 6'1" 226lbs musclebound Tinker Bell on the outside because you've allowed feminists to change your outward appearance - but I just proved that I can still get the "man" in you to come out with a little provocation. Earlier you condemned the "macho culture" but you responded to me in a "macho" way which tells me that even you were having doubts about your own manhood.

  • @fileboy2002 Well i think girls are more encouraged by society by everyone including feminists. However the problem is why arent boys being encouraged as well, again it seemsthat boys get harrassed for getting good grades in school and being a nerd while the jocks who are physically superior and better at sports get all the praise. Its usually not until boys leave school that they realise that real men do take their work seriously and so thats when they apply themselves but sometimes its too late

  • Um, It's called sexism against males!

  • lo reading dont fix no chevys

anyways, my theory is that boys can be extreme. boys can be very smart, which is great and all, but boys can be extremely dumb academically, and would far greatly bring down the male average academically. ah well, still proud to be a male. im happy to see girls feel less and less fear and intimidation to CHOOSE to be who they want in society.

  • abbolish courcework and watch the boys results sky rocket.

  • I think everyone here is missing the bigger picture -- the reason men aren't going to the PTA meetings and drown themselves in sports is the enethetize themselves from drudgery of their societally cemented role of provider. If men stayed at home while women worked 60 hours a week in a sweaty factory I bet men wouldn't mind going to PTA meetings, or reading, or .... It's awfully pompous to expect a man to carry such a burden - don't you?

  • @TheGreatToopi This is ridiculous....as if their role hasn't changed along with women's. I know several stay at home men and I live in the midwest. So don't give me that crap. My husband works in a clean office all day and once I am done with school is also going to be a stay at home dad. Men are the one's telling other men that they should only be interested in sports and not PTA meetings.

  • @TheGreatToopi Also I have known many women who work their rear ends off at a factory job as the sole provider of their families and still make it to their kids' PTA meetings. Your comment is just silliness.

  • I dont really think its a case of gender vs intelligence. Womens roles have changed. More women now have the opportunity to be independent where in the past even if they were very good at school they were'nt able to take it further because of marriage and family. Women are now encouraged a lot more to succeed ,to be independent and even raise children without men.

  • @PimpernellP Women *need* a college education to compete with men financially. What job for a woman other than prostitution will bring in the same amount of money without a high school degree. There are some factory and office jobs, but it's clear that when danger, night hours, long hours and manual labor are involved, women are neither interested in the job nor hired due to lower productivity.

  • @feministsAreCorrupt not all high paying jobs require tertiary education. I think you have generalised a bit. Not many women would find prostitution a good career move. I am not sure about why more women dont do manual work. I would think that many would find being a full-time wife and mother a career in itself.

  • @PimpernellP Women do not do hard manual/hazardous labor for two reasons :

    1) They are simply not as productive as men in hard manual labor due to strength, injury,

    2) The pay threshold is higher than for a man and includes beauty leverage and safety issues: e.g. For the same job, only higher pay would attract a woman to careers such as pest exterminator, garbage man, outdoor hi-rise window washer

  • @feministsAreCorrupt I dont buy the argument that women lack the strength. If you go back to the 1800's in England , children were sent down a mine to dig coal. I think the reason women dont do hard manual labour is because of social /gender conditioning. In the same way that you wont see men working on a sewing machine etc. Also a lot of workplace culture is male dominated and wouldnt want women there. I think you have a point regarding pay, women tend to avoid dangerous situations.

  • @PimpernellP You're right about the children. I bet a picture of the 1800's child mine workers would be ~100% boys. The caution/low risk tolerance prized in the virtuous woman is the courage/high risk tolerance prized in a man. Even at age 4, this is sex-difference is evident.

The average adult woman has the height, weight but not strength or risk-tolerance of a 12 yr boy. An employer paying a woman the same amount productivity lower than a man's would cause men to lower their productivity.

  • @feministsAreCorrupt yes, all interesting points. One thing that fascinates me , is that in this day and age, women, can be highly trained professionals, CEO's of companies etc, but, in the event of war, are not obligated to enlist in an army to defend these privelidges. They are not allowed to serve in combat.

  • @PimpernellP You're right, but I never hear of women complaining that the discriminatory armed forces registration forms available at every US Post Office exclude women. Ever. They don't want to. Should they be forced to register as men are?

Women could serve on combat bomb squads, but given the combination of technical ability, courage, and risk of death, there are probably zero women on the planet that would qualify and succeed without a few men to guide and support her.

  • @feministsAreCorrupt I have to say that I think women should have to register. I understand that in the US in some states, any man 18-26 who fails to register for selective service can be denied college funding and a drivers licence. In this day and age, with the word "equality" splashed everywhere, and with women gaining so many benefits, its totally wrong that men face such terrible sexism and discrimination.

  • @PimpernellP Agreed. I also think that women should have to register. Formally, the punishments are much harsher than you list, including very large fines. We know the fate of protesters such as Cassius Clay (boxer).

Women clearly do not want equality. They want female supremacy. The current path to that is more legal protections and privileges only for women while increasing the restrictions on male behavior.

  • @feministsAreCorrupt sadly you are right. I get the impression that all of this stuff is politically motivated. I have noticed the rise in men's rights websites which indicates that more men are becoming aware and just not following the pack and conforming. Selective service, military service, "doing your duty", all these terms have no real place in todays world if they apply to only the one gender namely men. I consider any sort of military service as a form of forced enslavement.

  • @PimpernellP You're right about the sex-specific enslavement. Anyway, our conversation began with education. Have you scanned the data on degrees by sex? I see that women continue to avoid computer science despite all of the developmental and financial incentives. It doesn't appear that fewer men are attending college when women are flooding colleges to collect Psychology and Education degrees? 1/3 of female MBAs never work full-time. I think we'll see this "education gap" as a myth.

  • @feministsAreCorrupt I havent seen data on degrees by sex. I have however heard that not many women tend to get involved with engineering-based degrees . Electronics seems to be male-dominated. It doesnt surprise me that 1/3 of female MBA's dont work full time. I still think, that with all the hype of a career for women, when the opportunity for marriage comes up ( and the opportunity to leave the work force for family etc) this appears to be a better option that working full-time.

  • Boys are not doing worse; Girls are just doing better. So what's the problem?

  • @missyah101 If women were fewer than 50% of the college enrollment, the President would be on TV and declare a national state of emergency and announce a scholarship program for women, but not men.

While younger college-educated women will exclaim WooHoo, they'll soon realize that there will be fewer men with college degrees to choose from. The traditional female role of declaring a man that makes more money to be her equal will end in this generation.
