This is the album I'd give to someone who didn't listen and doesn't know about Black Metal. I think it's the most representative album of this genre, that would make someone have a good understanding of it.

If you guys like this, than awesome. We all like what we like, but I personally can't see how.

I get the atmosphere, but so god damn boring. If you want bands with fucking amazing atmosphere (and still SOME black metal traits) try Agalloch, Drudkh, or Negura Bunget.

Dont wanna flame or shit, just trying this since I believe in trying all metal, but this pure black metal is not my thing.
