This game has great gameplay, graphics (for it's time), soundtrack, it's crazy hard but rewarding when u beat The Master difficulty (one of the hardest games I know but at the same time one of the best) and what addrenaline blast it is! I recommend to any hardcore gamer!

For those that are interested in making custom machines, I have one that has worked really well for me. It is heavy, but light enough to have good steering.

The parts are Photon Wing, Combat Cannon, and Devilfish RX. You need to beat the last story chapter on hard, and get standard on the diamond cup for the combat cannon. The photon wing is unlocked from beating one of the story chapters on hard, I forget which one.

No way, Sonic Phantom or Death Anchor all the way, they have MASSIVE top speeds and boost strength. If you're good enough you can go 1800km/h through the whole race with those things.

F-Zero GX was intense! Sometimes I'd go so fast on my Frost Spear that I could barely stay on course and it was AWESOME!!!!! I figured out that subtle movements saved your life more often then not and I also learned that the best way to take 1st place in the harder difficulties was to knock the leading racer (or 2nd best if you're lead) out of the race then you would eventually have enough points to scrub the last course (especially the last Diamond course) and still win the cup.

all my friends think cosmo terminal is the hardest course in the game, but besides the fact it has no rails its actually quite simple, it requires little to no steering capabilities and has lots of healing strips :/
