  • Why can't they make good music like this anymore? I swear to God, if I hear a song by that man Lady Gaga again, i'm going to kill somebody.

  • My top five movies that have the most awesome music:

    5. The Karate Kid

    4. Ghostbusters

    3. Beverly Hills Cop

    2. Back to the Future

    1. FOOTLOOSE!!!

  • THANK GOD. Thought I would never be able to find the original! Love this song, much better than the one on the new Footloose. Hmph.

  • why don't movies these days have songs like this in their movies??

    footloose has the best songs<3

  • 1980's best time in the world now look at the 20's

  • Matt Damon on Will&Grace :)

  • how dare they tried to remake that movie. or Fame or Hairspray. They can't compare to the originals.

  • Uhh...I was brought here by the musical Back To The 80s....was I the only one??

  • @iheartoldies2 My high school did that show two years ago... so you're not the only one. :)

  • @kayvicchen good to hear :)

  • @iheartoldies2 No, me too!

  • FOR ALL YOU STUPID "FOOTLOOSE BROUGHT ME HERE" FOLKS, STOP BEING A BANWAGONER. THIS HAS BEEN A GAY CLASSIC SINCE FOREVER AND I DON'T APPRECIATE THESE NEW LITTLE HIPSTER JERKS COMING IN AND SAYING FOOTLOOSE BROUGHT YOU HERE. BESIDES, ITS ALL ABOUT QUEER AS FOLK!

  • @gspectrumproductions AMEN :P Wish i was old enough to have been around when this was played at gay clubs. QAF still brings me here :)

  • @gspectrumproductions I WAS JUST WATCHING QUEER AS FOLK & DECIDED TO LISTEN TO THIS! :D

  • @mikem1026 LMAO...Me to.

  • Max+Paddy brought me here... :)

  • This song brings me back to some of my earliest, fondest childhood memories. Now I come back to it after all these years and find out that the lyrics even describe me to a "T". That coupled with the nostalgia, this feels so much like "my" song.

If I had a girlfriend, I would be in Heaven if she felt about me this way.

  • Footloose Brought Me Hear ( 1984 ) , When that boy was " trying " to dance - Ilove this song & Im 14 years old

  • I am so upset that the line "He don't score at Bowl-O-Rama/Still you gotta think this mama" is not in this version of the song. It's only in the stage musical. So. Freaking. Lame.

  • Just heard this on an episode of King of the Hill.

  • potato sent us

  • Ohh, man, this *really* takes me back.

  • The fucking 80's brought me here

  • Lets Hear it for the Boy is a great song by Denise Williams! Why is it that someone always gets nasty about songs like this? Being gay is not a choice, we have to accept the situation. I am a senior white female and not gay, and I think its terrible when folks feel they are so much better, when infact they are showing their ignorance.

  • @DoriH7 Why does someone takes a song like this and turn it into what it isn't? She's singing about a guy she is in love with, not a guy being in love with a guy, or girl in love with another girl. I know several homos, and they aren't "gay", theyre the most unhappy people I have ever met, because they don't want to be homosexual. What is "gay" about being something you don't want to be? And its got nothing to do with "folks feeling they are so much better". It has everything to w/ morals.

  • hot summer in the bronx in the 80sssss!!

  • @switchhitter08 i went through a weekend about learning how to deal with your emotions and deal with past issues that hinder u from future progresxs well long story short when i passed the course they played this song for me FUCKIN GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @switchhitter08 my first time hearing this was on a gay show called queer as folk and i fell in love lol

  • @switchhitter08 Figures the homos would take this song and turn it around to their advantage. SICKOS!

  • @IwshIcldstrtover I just read homophobic people are most aroused by gay porn... LOL... Perhaps you're just as sick as them.

  • @irvingklaw57 I'm not "homophobic". Just because someone voices their opinion about homos doesn't mean they're "homophobic", and you're an idiot for thinking such a sick thing.

  • @IwshIcldstrtover Homophobia: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals. This is taken from Websters dictionary. I'd say that sums up your comments.

  • @patsean8 Any male who sticks his penis into a males rectum has something wrong with them. That is a fact. The same with a female who lies with another female. It isn't natural, and it's sick, to boot. There is nothing "irrational" about a person who views this lifestyle as wrong. The wrong is the people who accept it as the norm. This would be people like you.

  • @IwshIcldstrtover I was just stating that as per the definition of homophobia your comments were in fact homophobic. That is a fact.

  • @patsean8 Well, what is a fact, is, homophobia may be one thing, and not accepting homosexuals as the "norm" is the other. Homosexuals and lesbians are not a race of people. It is a sickness because it isn't natural nor is it normal. *That* is a fact.

  • @IwshIcldstrtover That is not fact. That's an opinion you are trying to masquerade as fact.

  • @IwshIcldstrtover *That* is also ignorance.

  • @IwshIcldstrtover I think its just a way of thinking and the desision of the person, like religion or on having kids. Are you going to criticize someone for having 19 kids or being jewish or telling couple they can't elope? Then you shouldn't criticize someone for being homosexual. Its just their decision and their way of thinking. I'm not homosexual, but I know some people who are and are normal people, just different then us. Yes, its not the norm but neither is having 19 kids. Just saying ^^

  • Max & Paddy

  • @MechanicStormz1 i LOVE that show hahah :D
