So the story of Odin is that he comes from Ásgarðr, or 'Æsir Garden', which could be a clear sign. However, Æsir may have roots with Greek Æthere which means sky, and therefore maybe even Eden. So these words may just be roots of heaven or sky, which could contradict this Azerbaijan theory. Unless of course there is some relevance of the Caucasus region to the Greeks. Any theory he proposed is worthy of consideration and as a woman who is proud of her Scandinavian heritage, I feel curiosity and excitement - not hatred - about learning more about my roots. There can be a connection between azerbaijanis and scandinavians only due to huns. huns was a confederation of asian ethnicities, with a majority of turkic people (language was turkic). they migrated to europe, a group of huns turned left and came to Caucasia, and stayed there. I agree with you, they are not relatives, but they could share blood. For example, I've been to Tabriz 1x. I was at a local bazaar, there was young boy, probably around 17, he had red hair, pale skin, and green eyes, a bit of freckles. He could be mistaken for an Irishmen, had he lived in Europe. Scandinavians, Some Azerbaijanis, old Khazaks, and some Irish people, have a lot of light traits.

Years before this video even came out, I always had my suspicions. When I was in Tabriz when I was 12 years old, there were red heads identical to the red head populations of Norway and Ireland, no difference at all. What about the exact location written in the Saga`s? South-East of Caucasus mountains: Azerbaijan.
