I'm following this tutorial as we speak, and it's amazing how easy playing this song suddenly becomes by watching this nicely slow-paced walkthrough. And I'm not by any means a professional or anything. Thank you so much =]
And it's wonderful how Flake makes relatively simple chords and notes sound so cool and also meaningful. I admire him as a musician even more now.
Look at the 2nd video from searching on YT - from gollum2408 - you can hear clearly some metal-like sounds, maybe Synth Saw or something. I dont know the sounds, just giving You idea, I'm bad at playing from ear myself :P
