  • I thank all professors, who have the time to post lessons on youtube. Thankyou all

  • @AhhMostter I'm not a prof, just a tutor, but thanks for the kind words.

  • @videomathtutor well thankyou anyways, im sure you would prefer to do a million other things on your spare time, then spend hours making these videos

  • @AhhMostter Actually, making math video is my job! I love it!

  • y need pay if ur here to help ?

    sorry

  • @rayazing14 One can help and still charge for videos. I am a professional math tutor. Making math videos is my job. If I don't charge, I would not be able to get upgrades in hardware, software, and Audio/Visual Equipment. I also need to buy thousands of dollars worth in "math toys" that I use in videos. New calculators cost money too. By paying for my videos, you are getting in return the BEST math tutoring you will find on the internet. Yes, there are free videos, but their quality is poor.

  • @videomathtutor yeah i know u guys have to make money to do this quality doesnt matter really and etc thought cause this is original and etc YouTube maybe pay you for your work if you set it that wat

  • @rayazing14 I think quality does count. I now have an HD camcorder which I will use to make NEW videos. This will allow me to make more detailed videos (especially with graphs) that would look terrible in Standard Definition. Most of my early videos were in Mono, not stereo. Many people complained about the low quality of sound. I now have a Studio Quality Stereo Mic. I would not be able to get these items if I did not charge for my videos. Be aware, most are still free!

  • WHY DO I NEED TO PAY ?? :|||

  • @fearlessRiot21 Contrary to popular belief, not everything on the internet is free. I spent months putting this video together and spent quite a bit on materials too. I am a professional math tutor, so I make my money tutoring (either with videos or webcam). You also get what you pay for. Most of the free lessons are not very good, but I like to think this one will help you! I also need $ to upgrade equipment and software to make even better videos for you.

  • In an exam if you skipped the "make a template" step and just subed in the number would you still get full marks or lose a mark ? I find your videos very helpful thanks. Also what level is this maths?

  • @Twirler1995 It would depend on the teacher whether you get full marks or not. I am just trying to get viewers to learn a good "math habit." Believe me, you may think that making a "template" is a bother, but you will thank me when you get the correct answer, especially when things get more complicated.

What level math is this? Again, it depends. This content varies from country to country and school to school. It is the beginning of algebra.

  • angegirl

keep up the great work. I really did not understand the proper use of brackets and parentheses until I looked at this video. Thanks for the help.

  • thanks for the help, it really brought my grade up i have been watch the free stuff, thanks i have to take one last math class for my assoc r.n thank you anthony

  • @randymcmeans09 Glad my videos are able to help! The premium videos (those that you need to pay for) are even MORE useful!

Oh, and please call me "Luis."

  • EXCELLENT VIDEOS OF MATH!!! REALLY FUNNY, TOO !!!thank you very very much !!

  • why on earth would anyone solve any equation or inequality by subbing in numbers??? surely if you want to know if 7 is a solution to "2x - 3 > 5" SOLVE THE INEQUALITY... thus finding that x > 4, therefore of course 7 is a solution. Why waste time teaching people to solve equations like you did when this is how to do it properly and saves a lot of time?

  • @Canwetakearide2 @Canwetakearide2 I do teach how to properly solve inequalities later on in the lesson (not in this sample video). What you see in this video is just a simple example. It is also typical on tests, so I cover it. I am NOT showing you how to solve an inequality by substitution (this is silly, since they typically have infinite solutions). By the way, your method is not a time saver IN THIS CASE. Why solve when a simple substitution is sufficient (and is what I asked for)?

  • @Canwetakearide2 Also, what if the problem was more complicated? Solving an inequality is not a good way to figure out if x=7 is a solution, if it can be quickly used in place of x.

  • good vid, you make it look easy
