Don't think of abashuffle and all that lame shit is a move.

"Shuffling" is move which consists of maneuvers to speed your character up by cutting off delays, the L/R-cancel, the fast fall, and the short hop are what make-up "shuffling".

Short hop, do your smash, fast fall, L-cancel, that's all there is to it.

They dont' have single names based on which smash you use.

Google is your fran.

I LOVE melee! I believe it to be the best in the SSB series and best fighting game ever to exist.

Though I personally don't do edge hogging because that only shows me and my opponent that their kicking my ass and I can't beat you any other way. It's the only "move" in SSB that I believe to be cheap and shameless.

One small things involving shffl'ing at the end. Mr. Game & Watch is a unique character, because he has two moves that he can not l-cancel. His Back Air, and his Up Air.

I played against my friend, and OMG sometimes I think he's an alien...he grabbed me right away, juggled me in the air with Luigi, and had the time to do a smash attack...timed it right when I was coming down. My friend played too much that he's good with every character...He was Falco, and I swear as I was falling down and wanted to flip right back up to hang on, he would kick me straight down for instant cheap kill, not only that he would flip right back up like it was nothing.

@cDAWG2711 It comes down to what's easiest for you. Personally I like using y because it makes it easier to do different aerials (because you're not holding the stick in any particular direction)

That attack takes way too long to charge, and in the time you are charging you could easily be sent off of the level which could lead to your opponent edge hogging you. If you fight with Roy for that attack, then I strongly advise you to choose a different main.

One thing I thought of recently is, what if sakurai and the rest of the makers of ssbb had made brawl the exact same as melee? The only differences would be graphics, characters, and some movesets. That would be another thing to complain about.

Games should be about adapting to differences, not getting exactly the same thing. With Brawl, players have to push themselves as hard as they did to master Melee in order to become pro, and that opens opportunities for new players to become better.

with he right placement of the other character you can wavegrab the other character near the edge and throw them off (Backwards throw) now l cancel a f-air into a grab if they are still on and d-air when they're off.

It's really kind of hard to explain :/ you basically want to air dodge into the ground but in a diagnal direction.

Short hop by either pressing Y/X/Up, diagnal air dodge to the ground. You want to do this very very quickly, and if you did it correctly you should have a little slide.

Tip: I first practiced wavedashing on Temple. Wavedashing up hills is what I did. Much easier, and when you master this you should have a good idea on how to do it. Good starter character for wavedash is Samus.

I've hit on all of these but it just takes a ton of practice. It doesn't just come natural and getting the upper hand with this can change the game and make it more fun for you as well. Wavedashing and Shuffeling are probably the hardest in my opinion.

SHFFL is where you short hop, attack, fast fall, and then L-cancel.

shuffle can be done two ways, the first variation is to do the aerial while leaving the ground, the second is doing it at the peak of the jump, its good to mix it up so they don't get used to ur timing.

try with links down-air.  jump and use it so it hits the ground. if u press 'L' right before you hit the ground, you can see him pick up his sword much quicker than if u didnt press L. keep trying it and u'll get the hang of it. its pretty hard tho.

Then you're not really good.

teching is pressing L or R as you hit the ground to roll. L cancelling is pressing L or R just before you land to cancel lag from an aerial move. Try it out with Link's down aerial. You'll see a difference.

What I find amusing about 'advanced techniques' is that with SFFLing all it takes to break it is a well time up smash or dodge+up smash. Just the way the game was intended to be played. And as for juggling, hell just go Captain Falcon or Falco. Doesn't matter if you're on Hyrule or Final Destination (complete opposites yet both my favourite levels), juggling still isn't hard.

OK, so you think you could kick my ass because I don't use bugs in the system to win. To be honest I don't care too much how bad you think you could whoop because:

b)I know I'm a damn fine player without practicing junk like this.

(lol personally my favourite team to fight against is C.Falcon, Zelda/Sheik & Samus because I find them the hardest. Mario, Luigi and Bowser can also be hard [see:annoying] annoying because they simply spam B-neutral whenever you aren't next ot them.)
