I really liked the AvP comics from 20 years ago, but never considered them to be part of the official Alien canon. It is a PredAlien, according to the alien lifecycle that when a chestburster matures in a predators body it becomes a predator/alien crossbreed, and at the end of the movie Alien vs. Predator the chestburster comes out of the predator body at the end where AVP-R picks up with the alien coming to Earth

The Pred-Alien was in fact a young queen, that is why it has the crown in the back of it's head and that is also why it was able to lay eggs through it's mouth. According to the directors in the featurette of the DVD, they explain that the Pred-Alien was first trying to build a hive in the sewer, so it could start laying regular eggs, but the Predator "Wolf" came down and screwed it up for her and that's why she had to leave along with her drones and find a new hive

thats a young queen as a predalien breed (the stage is "pratorion") i think thats how you spell it... and yes the pratorions are known as the bodygards of the queen but it is also a stage in the growth of a queen

I personally believe it is a predqueen but not fully developed. It is in the middle stage between converting from a male alien into a queen...which is refered to as a Praetorian. I believe in this case it was a predalien, but with no dominant female to support a hive...it being the only alien started to convertoin. I think this because it is much bigger than other aliens just like Praetorians, and it is no doubt both Alien and Predator. Plus a regular alien can't lay eggs in you. :)

If you recall the end fight in Aliens the queen makes it back to the main space by hiding on the rear section of the actual drop ship. @playjoy97: I see then :/. But I think of all the queens we've seen so far(in Aliens the Return, Alien Ressurection and AvP 1), I believe that in AvP1 the queen there is the largest one of them all. I could be wrong ofc but 'til then I will stand at my opinion.
The following is dictated by my 9 year old son. It is a Predalien Queen because it has the bottom of a predator jaw and the queens crest as well. It also has pipes on its back like a queen alien. And there are no Predator dreads.
well, truthfully, the predalien WAS a queen, because no other alien was capable of eithe rlaying eggs or creating chestbursters, the predalien simply removed the facehugger stage and planted numerous eggs in one host, thereby creating a much more efficient means of reproduction, however, it does lack the raw size and hive-mind of a normal queen, and is seen actually shoving another aside instead of telepathically telling it to move.
Actually that is a predalien queen. I have the dvd of AVPR and the directors said that they ment for it to be a predalien queen. If you look at the back of the skull, it resembles the flat head of the alien queen. That is what the directors were aiming forto get a predalien queen like head, and if anyone has played the new AVP game the predalien has a longer and rounder head like a warrior. This is what i think if you agree with me, THUMBS UP! :)

The official commentary calls it a male, it's name "Chet" was called a guy by one of the strauses himself. The Predalien is more likely to be a guy.

thats a young queen as a predalien breed (the stage is "pratorion") i think thats how you spell it... and yes the pratorions are known as the bodygards of the queen but it is also a stage in the growth of a queen

I personally believe it is a predqueen but not fully developed. It is in the middle stage between converting from a male alien into a queen...which is refered to as a Praetorian. I believe in this case it was a predalien, but with no dominant female to support a hive...it being the only alien started to convertoin. I think this because it is much bigger than other aliens just like Praetorians, and it is no doubt both Alien and Predator. Plus a regular alien can't lay eggs in you. :)

If you recall the end fight in Aliens the queen makes it back to the main space by hiding on the rear section of the actual drop ship. Remember the drop ship itself is very large because it could hold the APC in the bay. My next though address the question about the queen’s age. I believe that queen in aliens was the same alien that had laid all that egg in that alien space ship during the first movie.

I googled alien too and saw that they had many other species: bull alien, winged queen, winged warrior, acid alien, chest burster alien who's black and very fast with poisonous bite and in a stadium where they didn't reach adult hood(don't remember its correct name though) :/.

I've heard from a friend that the Alien vs Predator 2 game is pretty decent but that it laged as hell XD. Too bad for him, eh?! But any way I love how the true creator(what was his name again?!) of the alien made the alien look so perverse and creepy X). They are so freaky when you can't see their eyes so you don't know if they're looking at you or not.

well, truthfully, the predalien WAS a queen, because no other alien was capable of eithe rlaying eggs or creating chestbursters, the predalien simply removed the facehugger stage and planted numerous eggs in one host, thereby creating a much more efficient means of reproduction, however, it does lack the raw size and hive-mind of a normal queen, and is seen actually shoving another aside instead of telepathically telling it to move.

Actually that is a predalien queen. I have the dvd of AVPR and the directors said that they ment for it to be a predalien queen. If you look at the back of the skull, it resembles the flat head of the alien queen. That is what the directors were aiming forto get a predalien queen like head, and if anyone has played the new AVP game the predalien has a longer and rounder head like a warrior. This is what i think if you agree with me, THUMBS UP! :)
