@RikuXlll I used a free program called PVMEdit to view and edit the textures in the sonic.pvm file, which is found somewhere deep within the Sega/Sonicadventuredx folder in my computer. Of course, you'll need the PC version of SADX to do any editing. ;)

I didn't actually make the silver texture for this model, since I, too, have no idea how to make things look so shiny. I simply took one of the shiny silver textures from Metal Sonic's model, and used it to cover the normal Sonic model from head to toe.

I used a program called PVMEdit to swap out the textures used for Sonic's model. I don't remember where I found the program, but you can probably find it with a quick Google search.

No, Metal Sonic from Sonic CD is in one of the tubes, and in the other tube is the robot sonic that apears in Sonic 3 & Knuckles in Sky Sanctuary Zone. (I can tell because it is taller then Sonic, and it's spikes on it's head are different then Sonic's.)

Well, the PC version of SADX uses .pvm files for the textures of every model in the game. Using a simple program called PVMEdit, you can replace, or any texture with your own, resulting in a cool "hacked" model. :)

That's a Very good hack! One thing though: when you fight Silver sonic in Sonic 2 for the Genesis, pause right when he turns and you'll see that Silver Sonic has only one eye. Then again it must be impossible to give the character one eye...nonetheless great job!

Well, there is actually already a Shadow hack that is actually a edit of both Sonic's pallette and his 3D model. Search Youtube for "Shadow in SADX" to see what I mean. :) Still, it probably would be cool to edit normal Sonic's pallette so he has Shadow's color scheme, so I might make one like that someday.

He just changes into Super Sonic, as he would normally. Sonic has a different model file than Super Sonic, so one can be changed without affecting the other.

You mean as a pallette hack for Sonic? It probably wouldn't look very good. Silver's hairstyle is much different than Sonic's, so simply changing Sonic's blue pallette to light silver and putting a patch of white fur on his chest wouldn't make him look like Silver the Hedgehog.

Well that's not entirely true. If you use dude's shadow model, and edit the hairstyle and pvm, you could make one mean silver the hedgehog.

Yes, using PVMEdit, I can give Sonic any texture you can imagine. In fact, it's rather hard to see in the vid, but I even changed his jumping animation to look like Silver Sonic's spin sprite from Sonic 2.

LOL, yeah, Super Tails & Knux are in the vid, but that's because I accidentally deleted their non-super pallette PVMs. I was just hoping nobody would notice. ;)
