If you make custom spells, know that touch spells cast faster than self. My reccomended effect for each school:

Restoration: anything except "Absorb"

Mysticism: Dispel

Conjuration: anything but "Turn Undead"

Alteration: Open Lock (cast on a door above the level of the spell)

Illusion: Charm

For Destruction use Drain Health for 3 pts for 1 sec on self. That way you can literally cast forever without worrying about killing yourself, since drain is only a temporary effect.

@WGxSML Umm... you know its the same for all schools of magic, right? just go to the arcane university and make a destruction or w/e spell and set the target to 'self'.

i found a cool way to level conjuration, just conjure a skeleton/zombie etc and use turn undead or spells like that on that skeleton/zombie untill it disappears and repeat if desired.

easy alteration is get a unlock spell and as ur walking cast on any doors near u i ned to get from like 11 to 25 to use a spell and i used magicka then waited then repeat took abut 2 days (48 waits)

If you want to level up a legit character's magic fast (Not duplicating the potions) just block and cast like normal and when you're out of magicka hit back (on the 360) and wait for an in-game time of one hour. This doesn't take long at all, and it completely replenishes your magicka. Repeat until you hit the desired level in whatever you're training.

Detailed Duplication Guide -:

1. get two or more scrolls

2. get item(s) it has to be less than the amout of scrolls you have

3. double click/press on the scrolls (TWICE!)

4. then drop the item you want I.e. potion, soul gem ect...

5. the pick up your duped items :D

- last quetion electronic3 i dont know if you've made a vid about this but people might find it interesting. (If you have the expansion pack shivering isles put the diffuculty on low find an obalisk and do the dublication cheat on the hearts and just keep summoning the knights, with the diffuculty on low they cant kill you if you keep healing but with this i got my block and heavy armour up within half an hour 100 very easy just thaught i'd share

@Avatarbee Yes it does. It is availabe in one of the Chapels I believe. Chapel priests and healer sell benficial spells, so maybe it's there. I know I've seen it.

all i do is for:

Conjoration is summon skeleton after no mana wait an hour and repeat the process

Illusion is cast starlight and same as up above wait till no mana then wait an hour

Alteration is cast protect till no mana then same as up above wait an hour

the only problem is the destruction spells, unless youre willing to hurt yourself, it could work if you duplicate and hotkey healing potions as well as magicka potions

ive tested the spell power thing. turns out it basicly doesnt matter. youll get less exp from a low lvl spell but it costs less mana to the point where, its really just how much mana you spend. it all just about levels out. low lvl spells are slower. thats it.

if their a different type of pace that it levels up? say if i use a spell that doesn't take up much magic will it still level up the same way as when i use a spell that does take more magic or will it level up slower? ex. i use minor respite which takes up 5 magic instead of heal major wounds which takes up 49 magic will i still get the same results or do i have to use the spell thats takes up more magic?

Just saying a few things for everybody.

1.Holding the spell button does NOT work on the Xbox 360, although you may figure that out yourself

2. For Destruction you should probably make a weakness to poison spell on self, for casting it on enemies would take much longer

3. For Conjuration make a custom summon skeleton spell with a duration of 1 second. This makes it so it hardly drains your magicka and you wont have to worry about fortifying it.

I've got a better training method. Keep using a spell until your mana is out then go to sleep, you're mana will be full. Repeat until satisfied.

Enchanting clothing, armor, or jewelry w/ fortify intelligence or fortify magicka works. Other than that there aren't any other ways of increasing intelligence or magicka besides leveling up.

Erhm, now if I wanted to cheat, I would simply just use codes. Now this method is not referred to as "cheating", because it only makes the game easier for you to play, but without using codes. It is up to you to consider the duplication glitch as cheating, or just doing what the game allows you to do. Personally, I think there is no reason for you to watch my videos just to call me a cheater. If you call this cheating then think of your own ways to play this game.

conjuration: get a summon scamp spell and keep summoning him till you get to 100, use the multiply cheat on a welkynd stone to multiply it alot and put it in your hotkey to keep your magicka up.

This is how I do it.

Firstly, pull your fist all the way back, then enter the menu, and press A on your arrows, then X. Straight after this find the item you want to dupe and drop it.

Oblivion is not only for PC, and the God Mode cheat only works for PC. Also, I personally don't like using cheats, since they spoil the game. But still that is only my personal opinion.

I don't take duping as cheating, since you don't have to do any extra work; it's already in the game. And now you should take into consideration, that the people who don't play Oblivion on their PC but on Xbox 360 etc. don't have this cheat ability. That means that they would still have to do this, but the duping will just make it faster. And knowing, that a minority play Oblivion on their PC, I decided that it might be more useful to those other players, if I post a video like this. Thank you.

No matter how much it is in the game, its still bug... Besides, not everyone who play with computer are console using cheats. They're both cheating, just you don't cheat the game, you cheat yourself.

Again, if you wanted to level your magic skills quickly without using the bug, you should do that near a bed and sleep when low on mana. Still that is much slower than this. What I think of the duping bug is my opinion, and what I least need is a lesson in life from a too serious gamer like you. Yes, I exploit the duping bug. Deal with it.
