Originally I also used a large rasp, for the belly cut. Then I started using an angle grinder with a small disk (I think it was about 2 1/2" or 3")...24 , 36, and 50 grit. That worked quite well and quickly. The sculped top was done the same way. A few years back we got a heavy duty copy carver (does 2 at a time..also shown on our youtube videos) Now we are working on digital. So much fun. KBR

I'd just use a rasp or two.
nice guitars and shop opperation there.
