A few years ago I saw an interview where they did the same travel with a mercedes that had installed a camera.

1978 Lelouch mounted a camera to a Ferrari and had a professional racer drive at breakneck speed through Paris early in the morning. The course was from Porte Dauphine, thru the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur.

No streets were closed; he was unable to obtain a permit.

The driver reached nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. He ran real red lights, nearly hitting pedestrians, and drove the wrong way up one-way streets.

Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested.

This film was made in the 1970s or early 80's. Roumors says it was formula 1 champ Jacques Lafitte driving though he denies it. nonetheless, it's a heck of a drive, and concidering recurrent traffic jams today vertually impossible to realise in todays Paris.

As mudanças para marchas altas e o som das altas rotações de motor indicam que o carro está a mais de 200 km/h; no entanto, a velocidade do carro em relação à velocidade em que o som reproduz parece não ter relação. O som utilizado é um overdub do 275GTB, de fato, dando a impressão de velocidades elevadas.
