  • Such pretty beads you got! See you should have been here to go with me to the stamp show s weeks ago. They have a bead show right next door at the same time. Thousands upon thousands of beads each one sparklier then the next. It was hard not to run from one booth to the next screaming OHH look, no look over there! I think I may have been a crow in a previous life lol.

  • Love the stones/beads that you got for your ornament project! Aw, look at Honi being a traitor! She hears Scott and wants to rub up on his leg and maybe get a treat! LOL

  • What are gremlin bites? Is Honi biting you? If my daughter saw this she would be drooling for those beads. Speaking of ribbons I am going to purchase some for my halloween custome.

  • Beth Beadalon is a good product but if you are going to manipulate that wire that is not the wire to get. You can find wire on spools like sewing machine spools that you need if the wire needs to be bent around anything. If you are just going to loop that wire like a bracelet.. then that wire is fine. I would have to know what you are making to really tell you for sure. Love the beads.... so pretty!! My entire body is so dry I can put lotion on 20 times a day. It's still dry. Hugs girl!

  • @imperceptibleme So I wanted to clarify about that wire. The wire you bought is nylon coated. The other wire I was talking about is just wire.... it's easy to manipulate. Ha! I hope that is clear. Huggles!!

  • @imperceptibleme Melissa, do you think we don't have enough oil in our bodies? The antibacterial soap is drying my hands, but why the dry ankles and hands I want to know.

I am indeed going to have to manipulate the wire. It goes down into the spool, through some beads and back up through more beads. So I will take this back and go look for the kind on the spool and just wire. That helps a lot. I know I would be hitting my head on the wall late one night hahaha Thanks!

  • @CookingAndCrafting Well You know how anything coated in nylon is... but you may be able to use that wire. I don't know. If it's just looped through beads and back through the spool it may be doable. The problem will be when you have to tie it off or twist it. The wire wire is better for twisting and things like that. It will kink easier than the nylon coated wire though. I use both kinds. I've made bracelets and necklaces with the nylon coated wire. And made pins with the wire wire.

  • @imperceptibleme When I use the nylon coated I have to use crimp beads to tie them off. That is a tiny metal tube that is crimped onto the wire and it's pretty strong. Sheesh I hope I've not confused you. I'll bring some wire wire to ST if I don't forget and show you. Hugs!

  • You're teasing us with the beads!! (LOL) Can't wait to see what you make with them! Pretty beads...I would LOVE to be able to hand pick single beads like that! Haven't found a place around here that does that.

  • @cring768 We have two places here for hand picking beads, one is locally owned called Bead It! (lol) and the other is Ben Franklin. I wonder if you could find a yellow pages online to find places that do that? It was nice to be able to just buy what you need and not some pre-packaged one

  • Cool beads. I am also using beads in my Christmas project ornaments. My mom and I love hunting for beads around ABQ. We even found some at the flea market, but I do not alway know about their prices? I have purchased my supplies so I will work on them, but I really do need a small group.

  • : )

  • Hi Beth! I would love to be part of the ornament exchange if you have room! Just let me know if you do and any rules that I would need to know (or refer me to a video with details). I like to rug hook, needle felt, sew, crochet...things like that and I tend to go primitive.

  • @adonicamae Perfect timing!! I was just asked on FB about this and I just did a video. Once the lllloong one that I just loaded is up, will upload that one. It calls for anyone interested in the exchange to speak up and I will now put your name on the list. Can I get your first name?

  • @silverscreamgrl Great!! My name is Adoncia.

  • @silverscreamgrl LOL, that is Adonica...not Adoncia!

  • Ok I am going backwards on your videos. I was about to ask you about the project a month. The beads look nice! Hi forehead!!!

  • Nice beads. I can just picture you going through all of them and selecting those you liked. Not a bad price!

Ha ha at Honi running to Scott! - roc

  • Have the ornament groups been made? Did I miss that?

You are one of the "sauciest" people I know, lol.

  • @yoyomax12 NICE! I was asked by Dolores on FB about this. So the timing is perfect. You did miss the video (thought you had) ... it was a while ago. But we are now starting to solidify groups. I am going to load a vid later today about it! I will put you down on the list

  • hahahaha you hitting yourself and cracking up. bain would have laughed his head off. you better show this to him.

  • ooooo love the greeeeeeeen! green is my fave color.

  • lol "saucy, no?" love the black/white/clear group too. as far as your hands go... you use them for work and play, non-stop! its amazing they look as good as they do! :)

  • i use diff shampoo every day. oooooooo love the beads in the red zone!

  • I regret when we moved to Florida I gave up some of my huge stockpile of cookbooks. Many purchased too used at thrift stores. The one I miss and wish I had to send you just would have been a hoot for you to see. It was like 50's era cookbook but also "housewife tips". You know how to make the man his drink and be a good hostess etc. It would just have me laughing for hours. If I could find it again I d buy it but don't remember the name.

  • @cozzyk I have one that is sort of like that. Just little tips in the side about how to get dressed in something nice when he returns and have a drink ready and ask him about his day. I howled at that stuff. :)))

  • Ya I need to think of ornaments to make. I might just fall back on my go-to ornament of foam ball and stick pins.

  • LOL at the end shot! Heh! :) I'm going to go looking for ideas for the ornament exchange. I'm SO indecisive! "Oh, that's cute! That's the one! No, wait...that one is cuter! No...that one..." I'm starting to feel like Sybil!

  • It is great that you get to pick the beads that you like out of the large jar, sometimes when I buy some in variety packs I get many that I don't like or can't use. Funny Honi running to greet Scott. Just like kids, by the end of day they tend to get sick of Mom and can't wait to see another familiar face walking through the door :)

  • LOVED THE END.

  • Love the greens.

  • I am constantly putting lotion on my hands, it's terrible. I never saw Gremlins. The beads are all very cool.
