  • Hi.. I'm using two CDJ-2000 with my mac.. Do i still need to download the CDJ Aggregator for my mac?

  • my traktor only has CDJ out 2 & CDJ out 3, help

  • the usb hub should be with power adapter.

  • man, he screwed leave the world behind

  • "Virtual DJ" Forever Alone

  • i have a question can i use serato video sl with cdj-2000 for video mixing?if possible thn can i connect thm plss tell me

  • i have 2 cdj 400s running with traktor 2, but they are no where near as sensitive as this, cant do spinbacks etc, how do i get them like this?

  • @fraric001 set the jog wheel brake to a lighter setting

  • @fraric001 Mate How did you get both your CDJ 400 to work on Traktor?? How did you split the sound cards?

  • @atrialbounce well im running mac so i made an aggregate sound device which contained the 2 soundcards. if your on pc you need to use asio4all

  • Can u use Turntables + time coded vinyl/traktor pro 2 hooked up to the djm-2000?( i dont have cdj's at the moment)

I really need to know getting ready to purchase the djm-2000..

    THNX +

  • i love my 2 cdj 2000. can't wait for djm 900 mixer.

  • i have TRAKTOR DUO AND 2 CDJ-2000......I WILL NEED TRAKTOR PRO?? OR WITH DUO WORKS GOOD??? PLEASE ANSWER THIS CUESTION!!

  • @JANCHAPELA Should work with Traktor Duo, only thing is you can't MIDI-map it your own OR import external MIDI-maps. But i think Traktor Duo has those mappings built in.

  • i have TRAKTOR DUO......I WILL NEED TRAKTOR PRO?? OR WITH DUO WORK GOOD??? PLEASE ANSWER THIS CUESTION!!

  • i've i'm good a need 3 usb for controler serato with the cdj's 2000.

2 for the cdj's and 1 for the rane..

now for the sound signale where came's it from ?...

from the rane to the mixer or from the cdj's to the mixer ??

  • You'll need :

    2 CDJ 2000

    2 USB cables

1 RANE HARDWARE (without this IT DOESNT WORK)

The only advantaje is that you don't need the DISCS CONTROL... that is all. With TRAKTOR only needs the CDJ 2000 & the USB cables.

  • That guy looks like a smug prick!

  • Am i the only one finding the MK3's sexier than the 2000's?

  • Can you do this with a cdj 850?

  • @drumkiter It will be available in a further update for traktor

  • Do you need usb or can you use ethernet (lan) cables because you were showing lan cables before?

  • were i can download live??

  • 2:49 !!! :D :P

  • Does this work with virtual dj?

  • So does this mean I can use the traktor software with the cdj 2000 without really buying any hadrware. Just using a download of Traktor and the cdj as a sound card?

  • Excellent presentation!

  • what is the difference btw using the cdj 2000 in DVS mode (i.e hooking it up to an audio dj 8) than in HID mode (for traktor)? would there be any scenarios in which i'd do this?

  • Ke xevere cdj imaginense 10 anos mas ke seria de la vida del dj saludos a todos

  • Virtualdj 6 support these units natively (plug & play) as well. I wonder why is not mentioned !

  • @apopsisdj maybe because VDJ is for bedroom dj...but i like it a lot! easy and immediately funny :D

  • @luka2511 how can it be for "bedroom dj's" when it already supports the most recent and professional dj gear and controllers such as the cdj-2000. And please wait for version 7..

  • @apopsisdj cos its gash ;)

  • why would you buy these to control traktor or serato are you completely fucking insane or what>?

  • when you will show us the tutorial for mixvibes?

  • how's the sound quality compared to actually using cd's. One of the things I hate with DVS systems is the scratch quality compared to CDJ's is not as good.

  • Ok, its a SAFECOM USB Hub, Model No. SU2SG-4PPWB. Does anybody know if it actually works with Traktor Pro??/

  • What is that USB Hub he is using at 1:30 seconds????? I've tried a couple different USB hubs to connect with my MacBook Pro for use with Traktor Pro, and none of them work; even powered hubs. Anybody have success with any particular Hubs?

  • its a goos concept.. but why in the world I would buy a 2k deck!!!! to control traktor.!!

  • @felipescalador

totally agree with felipescalador, there is no point buying these if your going to use them on traktor, if you want to use traktor with cdjs just get the cdj 400s, the 400s are perfect for traktor,

  • Crazyy !!

  • i like the way he hides the center of the plater 2min 53sec into the vid to hide the latncey problem smart , ya......prick

  • @MrIanmurphy Do you know or there is a lot of latency on this way of mixing, cause i was looking for someting like this...

  • @MrIanmurphy duno what you're talking about - if you watch the video for another minute you can see him use the hot cues and they are spot on perfect timing, no latency

  • @MrIanmurphy You can't eliminate latency. It's always going to be present, even the hardware that claim to be 100% latency free.

  • @MrIanmurphy what exactly is the latency problem?

  • @denizistheboss The new 2000's use a LAN connection to interact...mindfuck i know

  • @denizistheboss The latency problem is with the jog dial response. It's really sloppy.

  • @MrIanmurphy so true, the lag in native mode is truley shocking

  • For cdj 2000 do u have to buy traktor scratch pro for it to work or can u just buy traktor pro?

  • That's a fucking good question man.

I've never used traktor pro, I do use Traktor scratch pro. I'm pretty sure it works the same way minus the timecode feature.

So without giving you a certain answer. I think you could just run traktor pro with them.

  • serato does not have native support yet for the 2000, you have to use the control cd or put the wave file on a flash drive/usb stick. Traktor has support for it but it is buggy and the platters latency sucks if you scratch, Plus the cue points do not always load correctly on the player

  • I have been tring to setup my serato and 2000 to work in HID with no luck. Anyone get this up and running?

  • i have cdj 2000 and it works great with serato no problems...

  • no you don't.

  • @V6MattGW yes it works but you have to know i work there and i have another frimware kit;) so please don't talk about you don't know...first buy these players:)

  • @967FAN please stop lying. Thanks.

  • @V6MattGW i'm not lying make videos for djsounds and so you'll see;)

  • @967FAN no, you're lying. The firmware update was released this month and the last one didn't work. You lie, oh and reffering to your comment on my page "i see on your channel you have nothing to do with djing", ummm so my 30 min mix is nothing to do with DJing? lol.

  • use Traktor...its better

  • in this video it shows that you can control serato with the cdj with no disc but i have tried this and it does not work ????

  • Did you ever get it working? I user Traktor Scratch Pro, and have no problems at all with my 2000s Would be good to hear if the Serato crowd has it working as well.

  • When will be serato releasing the update to support the CDJ2000/900 to be use as MIDI controller?
