@TheRidGrid You need a silk screen machine or company to do it for you. You also need the artwork to be solid black....google "how to make a screen print" and there are tons of articles and how-tos Good luck!
i want to make t shirts and i happen to have a design but in pencil and colored pencil. if i want to print a shirt do i have to paint it? or when i send it to the online store will the color be solid? and do u mass produce the t shirts or do u have someone to do it for you?
im a artist in work but i just draw, im woundering what are the names of the utencils you use in your amazing artwork. what kind of brush is that your using?
dang ur really good. how many times is that available to use on a t-shirt? is it done after u use it with one t-shirt? thats how heat presses r n i was jw.
Hi, Wicked work!!! I am looking to get into tee shirt design and would like to ask a few basic questions. Do you draw the picture on paper then scan it into illustrator and make the change there?
Thanks man...that is "Chrome 45" by Viernes 13. You can snag it on itunes...they are a sweet Ska band out of LA. The paint is FW black acrylic ink....
Is hotpress watercolor paperblock the same as illustration board? I looked for it at the local art store and couldn't find any. Also what is clayboard?
It's close but it's a finer smoother paper...you can use illustration board or any other hot press paper no problem. Try them both and see what works best for your style...
Just picked up the new issue of Garage today. Love that magazine.... probably my favorite. I really enjoyed this. It's cool to actually see the man behind one of the designs for Garage at work. Now I just have to find out where to get one of those shirts!
FANTASTIC as always. I love trying to figure out your tools when you pan over them....the final composite is jaw dropping. I am so gonna get a shirt !

Woah, I really wanna get into doing this kind of thing.
Any suggestions to tools needed?
I wanted to use something really flexible and hand controlled.
So would I use a special form of pen with specialist ink? If so, what's the best brand/ style that wont run or fade in the wash.
Thnx,
