Dude you will blow them all if you don't use a box, they're getting to much air. I know you said they were in boxes, but still you should put the two good ones in a box ment for them and they will last. I've had Sony Xpload speakers for like 2 years and I've sent full 1200watts for over 8months total time playing them and they still beat strong. Unless your doing something wrong they shouldn't blow.

Thats your opinion. Fact is, the suspension of the subwoofer will keep it from over extending. Not to mention the coil will be out of the gap not receiving any magnetic flux which means there is no motor force to keep the coil moving. The coil will return to the gap. If the suspension isnt strong enough, then you have a cheaply made sub.

i had one of these with the vented box by elemental and the nine 1 amp at i ohm 1000 watts rms in a jeep and this thing could take loads of abuse!! there were times that your adams apple would feel like it was being tickled and would almost gag haha but the only down fall is the exersion. dont buy if u like really tight bass like techno. this thing has a 4 inch exersion. there backed by a five year warrenty

Like any other well managed woofer. I, other the other hand. Threw 25% more than RMS power to them, box was to large, and I played subsonic frequencies to them.... frequently. In their defense, they DID NOT BLOW. Just torn spiders. I .. beat the F**K out of these woofers. I want everyone to know this
