You can actually see to hole in the top right hand corner of the table, and that why he picks the cup and a taps it on the table so that the nail fails out
What I noted, and if I'm right, maybe this will help you in your delivery.
-If the glove on your left hand is necessary for camo, maybe start off with gloves and remove the glove from the action hand "so you know I'm not hiding anything".. leave the important one on.
-compare your face when slapping the first two to the third... a tell, I think.
3. quick ending. maybe show the back of your hand while dropping the device covertly then flip hand to show no wound on the front too :-)

That way when they hit the nail in pushes into the surface. Now look at surface, its curved, flexible. cardboard maybe? doesn't look like this guy is on a real desk, and look at (0:59). now watch his hands, he is grabbing something from is left hand and palming it. He then slams the nail below the surface where the camera and spectator can not see.

ahah!! u actually moved and dropped the nail when u are "covering" the nail. i saw the cup is little bit to the front n the nail is little bit at the back. so when u cover, then u move the cup backward, the nail dropped.
its easy the cup with the nail in it has a cut and when he tapes it the nail fall into his lap its almost half a cup,look at the cup when the 3rd cup is smashed,good try there buddy!!

@viksra Exactly, there are two moves that confirm it:
0:31 He lifts the Styrofoam platform right after "securing it" with tape
0:32 He follows with his eyes the nail falling to his lap. That is the greatest tell.
Bottom line, this guys shows lack of showmanship, lousy presentation and very unnecessary moves (taping it? wtf).
