@mrnachocheese I totally agree, even though I still got love for the seriest...and even X5,6 and 8, the series totally fell off after X4. That is my second favorite megaman X game next to part 1. The series just didn't have the same vibe and started going crazy with everything.

@MeGaMaNEH uhh maybe cause he didn't use ultimate armor at the beginning? >.> of course most people will find this game easy if they did use that. try playing it on extreme new game without ultimate armor

X8 was bad, but not as bad as people made it out to be, also the only one I had to cheat to beat was X4, I couldn't do the last part of Sigma, with all the heads

@JTFischer9 I believe you mean X7. X7 was terrible. X8 was a return to form. It was like the classic X games, return of heavy metal music and all. Only problem people really had with it was difficulty.  It was a bit on the hard side, but not anywhere near 6's difficulty. It's easily better X4, X5 and X6.

Megaman X8 sucks pretty much..but at the same time it's pretty decent , you should give it a try ^^ i've completed it and i actually kinda enjoyed it

If you use the X saber (We'll just call it that, since X possesses it) Anyway, if you use the X saber and then dash, it cancels the X saber. Thus, if one were to.... Put rapid fire on and hold the dash button and repeatedly mash the X saber button... He does a rapid slash. It's not a hack... =/ P.S. It doesn't work with the shadow armor.

what couldve saved you some time is using the fast slashing glitch. u continuously hit the triangle and circle button fast

X cant do rapid slash like Zero.. X & Zero saber skills are very different.. the only saber attacks X can do are Zero's 1st slash, air slash, & wall slash.

yea i saw that zero video too..but i now that the guy who made that video was editing the video & using a hack app to make it look like X was doing Zero's rapid slash.... it was cool to see X do rapid slash even if it was fake

He's not that hard as long as you know how to kill him quickly.

How do you go about killing him? Is it possible to kill him in the early stages with Zero? Because frankly, I can't fucking damage him

With X, just stun him with your buster shot and use the weapon you get from Commander Yarmark, charge the weapon all the way and let the bugs start firing. I haven't tried using that with Zero, but that's the best weakness I know of to fight him with.

Not entirely sure, I used the boss weapons to defeat him, there might be a way to kill him without the boss weapons.

Only with the Ultimate X, as far as I know. Personally, I think Turtloid's weapon is the best choice for this encounter, as it makes High Max ridiculously easy.
