While I agree to quite an extent with the problems and dismal state of neglected labourers, I don't know for sure whether child labor has been really used in the construction. It may be true to certain extent since these activities though are officially abolished and subject to condemnation, unofficially and off the record I have seen poor kids working for hardly Rs.20-50 for a full day worth of exacting labor which is certainly abominable.

Religion set aside, I am disgusted.
Not only at the Government which has clearly failed to protect the rights of it's citizens, not only the IOC, but mostly at the athletes who choose to participate in this years Olympics. It should be boycotted by them if they truely believe child labour is wrong. Some of them even appear in advertisements about it - I guess the whole thing was just scripted and they just did it for the money which is quite shameful.
