I'm not sure how you could do it but ive seen a few done small and big block chevys you should look around on the net for a massey harris forum and maybe you could talk to somone about modifying one
as far as i know. i was told by a friend that has done this you mount your engine with an automatic transmission into the engine compartment. you extend the frame as needed with channel iron. and then you hook up the rear output shaft of the transmission onto the double chain hook up into the tractors transmission.

how did you hook it up from starting flywheel off 454 to shaft input ? i have massey 44 and motor is done, and have spare 454 sitting in garage !
