i just got mine today as well i have crashed it a few times but it doesnt have any damage. I find mine difficult to control even with the two plastic things and when the trim is set up correctly. Also when i take off, the heli keeps spinning and then takes off even when the trim is setted up correctly.
Hi, I just got it today and am enjoying it very much, i want to remove the safety cap to enable backward steering but it seems to be very tight and i don't want to break anything. Also when i charge it the green light turns off after a minute then goes off. It can't be fully charged because when i fly it it only lasts 30 seconds. When the green light goes off the red light flashes. HELP!
The plastic on the front is for beginners and provides increased stability. Once you get good, you can take the plastic off and it makes the Tandem more responsive (and harder to control). They are like training wheels.
ok thanks, ive acctully got the heli now and its great, ive got good enougth to take the plastic off, and its a very good, responsive helicopter, i recommend this :)
Why do some of the rc helicopter tail spin? I purchase a rc helicopter at walmart that tail spin even after trying to trim the tail with controller. Bad design! What are servo use for?
Looks great flying doesn't it? Well I bought one for $60.00 and it stopped functioning properly after 2 hours. If you don't have the space and have never flown one of these before, think twice about this purcahse. It is very hard to control and trim for balanced flight. Hence you need a fair amount of floor space without obstacles to practice.
You just have to try not to run into anything. But, of course, if you don't have the space it may not be the best toy. I use it in my living room which is maybe 15' x 15' with a regular height ceiling.
i just bought one of this... at Singapore for 30 dollars about 20 US dollars
