ok Now I never saw the entire movie I just read the books. this isnt the way eragon gets to know Murthag is morzan's son. Also tthat tunnel id dupposed to be bigger. And were the Hell are the dwarfs?
i read all the books and loved them and i loved this movie.. but what i don't understand is why they cut sooo much out of it, they have deleted scenes of Katrina and the twins... they are important to the movie, if they hadn't cut them out they could make the second third and forth movie, i'm pretty disappointed that they can't now cause this is my favorite series.
The twins are not even twins. It's one man and they copied him. They should have kept this scene, or better use twop actors instead of one. This could have been such a great series of movies, it could have stood together with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. It's a shame they can't even make a second part, because KAtrina never showed in the first one and because Razacs were killed by Brom. I wish the director had read the book properly before turning a great story into a shitty one. :(
Garrett Hedlund (Murtagh) was the only reason i saw this movie it was a disappointment hardly like the book. But atleast i saw Garrett he is my all time favorite actor hahaha
the whole movie sucked christopher should re make his movie with a better director im 100 percent sure that if he had a better director and better actors and actresses that looked like the characters in the book AND got the story line 100 percent right this series would be even more popular then harry potter
Speelers wasn't a terrible Eragon neither were the actors of Brom, Garrow, Murtagh, Ajihad or Durza. Everyone else sucked and the entire feel of the movie betrayed the heart of the novel. its a cheap, forgettable, one-time only cinematic experience. But there's hope! Just think about Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings from the 70s. ever heard of it? if not, good! that will be this film in a few decades. Hopefully some Peter Jackson type of director will reboot it to give it the quality it deserves

The ONLY thing this movie did was give you an idea of what a smaller Saphira may have looked like. Aside from that, it was terrible. The characters didn't fit CP's books in the least, and the plot was very upside-down.

that sucked. Eragon went from detached, to discomfort when the Twins tested him, and then back to detached seconds later after Saphira did that stupid cat growl. He didn't even look perturbed by the fact that the Twins attacked his mind and in the book, if he called out to Saphira like that, she wouldn't have just cat growled, she would have pounced on them.

@gothickid6 Both Murtagh and Eragons' scars are supposed to be on their back. Murtagh from Left to Right, Eragons' from Right to Left. The movie did not give Eragon a scar so that is why you are probably utterly confused.

i agree with almost every disparaging comment about this movie, such as one about those aren't dwarves, and another about cutting scenes about characters who have a major part further along in the series.
they even got the deleated scenes wrong. eragons let the twins examin his mind. if hed wanted too him and saphira could have easily overwhelmed the tins. how can they have gotten everything wrong? thank god they at least got brom, durza, saphira and murtagh right.

so now they're going to have trouble creating tronjheem [i forget how to spell it to be honest..]and du weldenvarden all in one movie, arya wasnt nearly as impressive as she was in the book, she looks too human to be an elf, again the lack of dwarves, and the time period in which this all took place. around 3-4 days tops in movie i believe? took almost a full year to go from carvahall -> varden in book. traveling and training...they completely skipped yazuak didnt they? yeah they did..

the ONLY thing i was pleased with the movie, was brom. he actually seemed to feel right maybe not the gay ass clothes they put him in, but definitly the way he acted, it felt right. eragon arya [lack of any dwarves] and the final battle with durza. what the FUCK were they thinking, oh lets just have him summon a dragon-monster thing out of SMOKE. that would be so cool! no. they failed. no scar on eragons back, they didnt show the politic side of nthe varden

and i think the two reasons they deleted the scence was 1; in eragon's memories they show katrina, which was only in a deleted scene and 2; the twins were heavily makeuped and ugly.... lolz

if they wouldve added all these deleted scenes to the movie, it woulve be a bit better. like now its 50% in goodness. (or worse) but adding these scenes it wouldve been 60%
because they missed arya, katrina, the twins, HOW THE CHARACTERS LOOKED LIKE (like saphira's wings, broms beard, ARYA, ERAGON....) and soooo much more.

this is the biggest let down for the movies ever they didn't even follow the plot of the books. first off brom didn't die from the shade. he died from the ra zac. second in the book he goes to the forture tell at least third times in this movie he only want to her once. third they never showed the part where brom brought, eragon to the house to heal. i agree that they should re make the movies. now they have the twins in the deleted scenes we didn't seen them untill the second one.

@gothickid6 Both Murtagh and Eragons' scars are supposed to be on their back. Murtagh from Left to Right, Eragons' from Right to Left. The movie did not give Eragon a scar so that is why you are probably utterly confused.
