Maximum Ride isn't going to be a cartoon, it never was going to be one. That was just something that some stupid MaxRide hater made up to make US mad, it's going to be real people and it's coming out in 2010.
Actually it's going to be in CGI. Which technically isn't a cartoon, but it's not real people either. And I would much rather it be a cartoon because CGI gives me motion sickness, so I'm probably not going to be able to watch this movie.
No, it's going to be real actors. The wings and stuff will be CGI, but everything else will be real people. James Patterson said so when he was talking about Maximum Ride: MAX. And they want regular kids that can act to play the characters, not big movie stars.
Technically he said he hoped they'd get unknows, but he didn't actually know. And the way CGI works is that they get people to model images or something like that and then they use those images to animate the movie, then they have them do the voice audio and that's pretty much it. So they would have to cast real people but they'd just animate those people. Plus, you can make people look taller with CGI and more muscular which is the main reason I think their using CGI in the first place.
God, she BETTER not use them as Max and Fang, they're both too old, especially Rob, and Kristen could NOT by ANY stretch of the imagination be Max. Rob could play, like, Ari or an eraser, and Kristen could be an extra. But NOT the two best main characters.

I'm totally behind stem-cell research, because it has the potential to save so many lives. The problem with the combing of animal and human cells to create more stem cells, is that there are so many government factions we don't know about. What if some scientists go to the next step and allow the embryo to become a child?
EXACTLY what I was thinking. As cool as it would be to have wings (i would sign up, for sure!), if a kid was born he/she may regard herself as a freak, outcast, etc. the scientists would need informed consent from the person they experiment on, however we cannot talk to embyos SO, that is impossible. Either the scientists stay in the dark for many years to come on human/animal hybrids and if they can exist in real life (still think, etc.) or they break the law and create a... child.

Actually it's going to be in CGI. Which technically isn't a cartoon, but it's not real people either. And I would much rather it be a cartoon because CGI gives me motion sickness, so I'm probably not going to be able to watch this movie.

No, it's going to be real actors. The wings and stuff will be CGI, but everything else will be real people. James Patterson said so when he was talking about Maximum Ride: MAX. And they want regular kids that can act to play the characters, not big movie stars.

Technically he said he hoped they'd get unknows, but he didn't actually know. And the way CGI works is that they get people to model images or something like that and then they use those images to animate the movie, then they have them do the voice audio and that's pretty much it. So they would have to cast real people but they'd just animate those people. Plus, you can make people look taller with CGI and more muscular which is the main reason I think their using CGI in the first place.

I rememember hearing about this on the news, and I was a little freaked. WHat freaked me most was an article I read in the papaer about how little the public knew about this.
I'm totally behind stem-cell research, because it has the potential to save so many lives. The problem with the combing of animal and human cells to create more stem cells, is that there are so many government factions we don't know about. What if some scientists go to the next step and allow the embryo to become a child?

EXACTLY what I was thinking. As cool as it would be to have wings (i would sign up, for sure!), if a kid was born he/she may regard herself as a freak, outcast, etc. the scientists would need informed consent from the person they experiment on, however we cannot talk to embyos SO, that is impossible. Either the scientists stay in the dark for many years to come on human/animal hybrids and if they can exist in real life (still think, etc.) or they break the law and create a... child.
