  • 2:25 they couldn't get nicer FSC girls?

  • how did you end up commentating?

  • Contacted by the promoter. I was supposed to partner up with someone else, but ended up teaming up with my buddy who came for the Silva interview and to watch the Galvao fight.

    lol

  • very cool!

howd you know the promoter?? that's awesome.

  • They contacted me through YouTube.

    :)

  • those chicks have some ass,XD

  • I WANT a crack at the SPIDER

  • Seriously, I want that beat

  • BEATS, SON!

    THAT'S WHAT I DOES!

    lol

Naw. I kinda retired making hip hop beats when Hip Hop died.

I could send it to you though.

  • Cote would whoop Franklins ass.

  • damn i cant wait for ufc 97 im gonna be the guy who trys buying 2 tickets right after they sellout...its gonna be crazy trying to get those things. and for ufc 100 what do you guys this is going down? i heard something about kro cop returning to the ufc for one fight or so and chuck liddell fighting and all this crazyness...does anyone know whats happening?

  • Scoff at me all you want but i want to see fedor vs silva. There isnt much of a size differance. Silva walks around at 227 and fedor 230ish. They both want to retire and this would be a good final match. Fedor would win though, also about rich franklin he isnt running from silva, the ufc asked/told him to move up to 205. He stated he would want to fight silva again.

  • I won't scoff at anyone who wants to see the best 2 fighters in the world face off. I agree, Fedor would win, but I'd watch it, FOR SURE!

And as for Franklin, he even stated himself that he is in a strange predicament. He said there is no reason to fight Silva again. He said he shouldn't get a title shot until he gets a LOT of wins, or until Silva loses it. He said the fight with Silva made no sense. This was about 2 fights ago.

He will have earned his shot if he beats Hendo and Bisping.

  • Interesting fight for sure but the ONLY place it can happen is 205lbs and Fedor won't cut weight to face Anderson. Anderson's natural fight class is 185lbs and Fedor usually fights close to 230lbs, so to be fair it's 205 and at 205 I'm not sure Fedor would win. At 225+ though, it's all Fedor for sure. BTW Anderson walks around at about 218-220 tops for the quotes I have heard from his camp. Franklin beating him is absurd and Rich has gone on record as NOT wanting another crack at Silva anyway.

  • Fedor FIGHTS at 230, he obviously walks around much heavier.

Silva is only 215 naturally by the way.

  • Yeah, but if Fedor is more than 230 lbs when he ain't fighting then it must be fat. Why would Fedor LOSE/cut muscle to fight (better)??? HE would only want to lose FAT! Brock Lesnar is like 288 lbs (with fat) but come fight time he gets to 278 lbs all muscle (4-5% body fat) and then cuts to 265 lbs for the weigh in.

  • @Maloperverso i doubt that its 4-5% body fat, but itsmost likely under 20%.

  • Rich franklin will catch a spider at 205 and crush the shit out of it. Hell GSP will nuke a spider in a catch weight battle

  • Rich Franklin? Really?

What makes you think that a bigger/slower Rich will beat the guy that broke his face 2 times? Silva is just as deadly at 205 and it's not like Rich will improve anywhere other then size and strength. And those weren't the issue. It was his striking, clinch and speed.

    & GSP?

Little ass GSP would die at the hands of Silva. Silva is a BIG 185 and GSP is an average 170. Silva makes 205 easy. GSP would lose all speed, is not as good a striker and ground wouldn't matter much.

  • Heck, only reason Rich is at 205, is because he's running from Anderson Silva.

Dunno if you were joking but I did find it quite absurd.

    It's all good though.

    :)

  • Oh absolutely, again I couldn't agree more. I don't think GSP can handle Anderson at 185lbs, GSP wants to beef up to a dehydrated 185lbs and balloon to 195 or so when and if he fights Silva, so he can try to overpower him on the ground like little BJ. However GSP has to get through the human wrecking machine that is Thiago Alves first and that is a seriously tall order. That will be GSP's toughest challenge yet.

  • Except the part where you said little GSP is a small welterweight, he is among the largest in his class and at fight time he is around 185lbs and that is huge like Thiago Alves. I still say Silva would beat him though.

  • I don't think Rogan is bad, I have nothing against him. And I like how he is honest about the issues that go on in the sport. I just think there are better commentators out there (mma analyst would be one of them if he started doing it regularily). But they do need to replace Goldberg. I know he is a nice guy, and he was originally good, but the quality of his analysis has declined considerably over the years.

  • U ain't never lied.

    :)

  • You got me on this one, what's that beat playin at the end?

  • You should have talked to me. I could have gotten you that interview. Nextel!!!

  • I gotta let a dood rest. Can't bother ya for everything. lol

    *damn!*

And yo, see you in 20.

    BJJ, it's important!

  • this was a great video, 5 stars

  • Nice view from the announcer's table.

  • Oh man, I can't wait for this!

  • Okami was 100% faking it. Grats on the gig man, hope to see a lot more for and from you in the future.

  • lol

Joe is good. And he likes to focus on the ground game and is honest about the bouts 99% of the time. Goldie, he's supposed to be a hell of a nice guy, but he is the worst. lol.

They do what they do and well though. They ain't going anywhere. lol.

    But thanx Marbs.

    :)

  • ohh man, I hope you get the commentating gig locked down. that's a sick tight job.

  • Thanks. I'm hoping the same thing. There's a lot of upstart companies in MMA and they need commentary. It was sweet doing it and I'd love to do it again.. and again.

    Peace

  • lol. He's the camera man... the man.... with the camera.

  • Sweet Video, did you do the commentating for the actual event, or for like a podcast? If so are they putting that out on DVD, cause thats a "remember when" lol.

  • Yeah, we did it for the actual event and there will be a DVD coming out. Hopefully the "remember when" is when we are looking back to where something sweet started, rather then a 1 time shot.

    We shall see.

  • Let me know when that bad boy comes out, Id like to grab it, specially with some of the fights that were at FSC. That was co-promoted by IQMMA, right?

  • ATTENTION: If there is anybody from UFC management watching this video, replace Joe Rogan with the MMA Analyst asap. Also, replace Goldberg with Steve Quadros.

  • where was that anderson silva press conference?

  • Yeah. That was me asking the question about Okami.

I will be posting the whole thing in a bit.

  • very nice bro, maybe there will be a next time to catch a spider

  • nice!!!
