I checked also the Billboard charts and saw that the Elgins(original record) reached Nr. 50 in 1966, but Bonnie Pointer was even Nr. 11 in 1979, so that it was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic.

I love Lulu, so great that she's still doing great after all these years...but what the hell were those dancers doing? It's hard to believe that, not so long ago, dancing like that was everywhere. How things have changed...
The lass looks SO GOOD! Met her a couple of years ago at one of her concerts, and she is as lovely and kind as she is beautiful. On top of all that, there's that voice! Wonderful, wonderful lady.
Is it my imagination or were a couple of her dancers regular backup dancers for Steps during their concerts?
