I love all the books, this series definitely doesn't do the book justice...... here in Italy the show hasn't been broadcast... so far I think Richard is too young, Darken Rahl is... bland... I don't want to be offensive, I just imagined them different. also the People's Palace... it was not a medieval castle... at least not in my mind!!!

The books are great but the tv-show really is shitty. Bad scripting, small budget, mediocre acting. Bridget Regan is the only ray of light in an otherwise horrible production, where character depth apparently was something the writers completely forgot to add.

So...I just stumbled onto this...and though it didn't catch me long to catch onto what it was, it probably wouldn't have taken me half as long if the characters looked anything like how I'd imagined.

I wish they'd picked more fitting actors--Richard isn't big enough, Zedd isn't wiry enough, and for goodness sake, can't they pronounce Kahlan's name right? It's Kah-len, not KAY-len--if the A was long, there wouldn't be an H in it.

Wtf? What's Wheel of Time??? And sorry, but if you take out ALL the filler from these books, each books page count would drop by at LEAST 200. Terry Goodkind MILKED his series foe eveything it was worth, desperate to make extra money on extra books. This series FAILS to realize its full POTENTIAL, no where is that more apparent than in the last 4 or 5 books.
