It is hard to figure out how to do this. Can we play games as part of the rest? Can we plant or do hobbies? What does God's word say about these questions? How do you do this with the basic needs of cleaning and making food? I am trying to figure all of this out.
@studentinlearning The way you keep the sabbath holy is by Devoting it soley to God. If you are planning to do games you should always ask "is this about God?" You can ask that for everything you do on the sabbath to keep yourself in check. You cant buy or sell on the sabbath (Neh 13:15-18) You cannot speak your own words meaning you cant talk about the new car you just bought, your watch etc. Isaiah 58:13 explains what else. The great part is everytime you do the sabbath you'll please God.
@studentinlearning Read Issaiah 58:13-14 this answers your question. do your stuff on the other 6 days This day is only for The God of the universe! If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
the sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath mark:2:27.... the fourth comm. is telling us to remember cause god knew we would forget and also to remember the creator as god himself rested and god did'nt it . we are folllowing christ right and he kept the sabath and so should we he is lord of the sabath mark2:28...
People put quite a bit of emphasis on the word "remember", but if you notice in Exodus 16 when he first shared the sabbath with mankind, the word remember was not used.
Also, the word remember was not just used of the sabbath, it was also used of the day they were set free from Egypt. And they were told to "remember this day".
why are u judging adventists and talking about the cathalic church do u watch television the pope admit to the seventh day sabath so when u judge adventists which means looking forward to god's coming so all christians are advents now seventhday adventists means u look forward and keep the bibles sabbath and look forward to his coming so if u go to church at all u are an adventists so u're judging u;reself next time think before u judge peoples religeon and next time do research first
Wonderful video! As one from an Orthodox background it kind of does not sit well that you are using a Tallit as a table cloth. Still Wonderful video, may Yeshua Truly Bless you! I remind you of Messiah's words though, Shabbos was made for the man not Man for the Shabbos, in other words If I want to go for Coffee, I will! If I need to make a run to the Store for Congregational needs I will and not feel guilty about it either. I remind you of Yeshua's analogy of the animal in the pit.
We are not adventists, you don't have to be an adventist to understand the bible. You have not understanding of your bible at all. There is no such thing as sinning on purpose. We all make mistakes and that is when there is atone ment in Yeshua/Jesus's blood. James is saying that if you break any of the commandments (on purpose of course) than you have broken them all. We keep God's commandments, and if you don't like that, than too bad! you like being lawless so go ahead and stay a gentile!
@carrieanne55 We are Messianic Jews and non Jews! I would have to agree with your statement! The Adventists are a cul, we are restoring the True Catholic Body (Universal)!
@carrieanne55 We are Messianic Jews and non Jews! I would have to agree with your statement! The Adventists are a cul, we are restoring the True Catholic Body (Universal)! You forgot to mention the Shabbos Schluf!
@MenechemShaul What are you talking about Catholic Body? How about going back to the time of the apostles and keeping what they kept. Joining the Israel of God. Catholicism isn't even in the bible.
ATTENTION Adventists: Are you a perfect Sabbath keeper? Yes or No?
If Yes, then do you claim you are actually perfectly keeping the Sabbath Commandment without flaw at all?
And do you then claim you keep the whole 10 Commandments perfectly and that you are now sinless, because James said if you break 1 point you break the whole law! So you would need to be a perfect 10 Commandment keeper to be classified as a Perfect Sabbath Keeper.
If your answer is No,then you admit you are a Sabbath breaker?
@The1Antonio1 listen Adventists is all Christianity it means looking forward to Christ's coming which means nearly the world who are baptized believers are advents now seventh day Adventists are people who observe the sabbath and keep it through god u can keep it's not saying u're a perfect christian because everything Christ did we can do on earth the word says that and Christ keep the sabbath here on earth as it was his custom to go in the synagogue on sabbath.
"remember" means not to forget and that's exactly what happen and to also remember god as the creator and that he rested the seventh day the sabath was made for man not man for the sabbath which means we need the sabbath not the sabbath need us mark:2:27.. out of all the days of the week were we do our everyday stuff and god ask for one day and that is seventh day and we can't give cause we think we can't keep it sounds selfish it can be kept as Christ
@hydenblu some do, some don't however they have a lot or wierd doctrine and don't keep the Feasts of the Lord. The Sabbath is mearly the 4th commandment and commandments cannot be fulfilled. Not keeping God's commandments is called sin, It is as simple as that. The Catholic church long ago got rid of the 4th commandmnet and the Protestants followed them.
You are right, to fulfill the sabbath one would have to fulfill every single other commandment perfectly..Because to break one means you've broken the entire law. This is why we won't ever been seen as obedient in the eyes of God if he judges with the ministration of death, unless we're hidden in Jesus and washed in the blood of the lamb.
Your video is against the commandments of God! You give people the playbook answers for Col 2:16 of which you don't understand because you do not know Torah, nor keep it. You don't know who the covanent of God was given to, nor what it is. You don't understand what sin is or you wouldn't tell people to break God's commandments. If you don't steal, but your you break the Sabbath you are a transgressor - as sinner - James....
God made the Sabbath for man so he would take 1 day each week to know him. but you have rejected it and do not know the foundation of the word - the Torah. Jesus didn't have any New Testament scriptures - He had what you call the Old Testement and that is what Paul and everyone quoted. Christians do not even have the foundation or the beginning of knowing God - His 10 commandments. this ia only the beginning and you are not there yet. very sad for you - but the evil is that you teach it!
Amen Carrie! Tell it like it is!! The Christian world likes to pick 9 commandments & make them applicable, but oh boy...if it wasn't for that pesky little 4th command that is like a thorn in their flesh, eh? It's amazing to me how much that one 4th comm gets the evangelical world all riled up. They just want to do what they want to do on Sabbath...it's almost like a mysterious evil spell comes upon them, & they go out of their way to do everything in their power to destroy the 4th commandment.
Amen! I think is is called conviction! They feel comfortable comparing themselves with themselves, but when you tell them something they SHOULD be doing, and you do it! look out! God Bless!!
allymetoo What are you trying to say? God always knew and showed us with the day of First Fruits that Messiah would rise on the first day of the Week (Sunday). But it doesn't change the 4th commandment to keep the seventh day of the week (Saturday) entirely for him.
To end this dispute once and forever, let it be clear, that no-one ever changed the Sabbath Day to Sunday ( Even not Constantine the Great )
Yes it is true that the numbers of Days are often mixed up, and it is clear from Genesis and Jewish Tradition , that Saturday is the seventh Day.
Sunday has a special meaning to it, as except that it is the Day of the Lord (1st) ( where Christians gathered ) also becomes the 8th Day ( The Day of resurrection as a completion of a cycle )
I have heard about you from a bro. who visited you recently who lives in louisiana. We have fellowship in our homes and observe the Sabbath and we are learning more and more each day. Here's a better passage:
Romans 3:19
"Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law"'
As I am not an ignorant Bronze-Age desert nomad,
the law simply does not apply to me.
And where there is no law there is no sin,
so the best thing you and I can do
is to stay the hell away from that whole archaic religion.
Education dissolves religion.
Imaginefree69 1 year ago
So why would you even watch this. Why don't you watch something more heathen? And Education proves religion.
carrieanne55 1 year ago
"Education proves religion."
Nice slogan, but it lacks evidence.
Have a look around and see where religious "faith" is most prevalent:
in trailer courts or in Beverly Hills?
Among truck drivers or scientists?
In Haiti or in Manhattan?
The evidence is clear:
Education dissolved religion.

Traditions of men are the problem, Matt 15: 1-9
The day of the week in Hebrew
Sunday - Yom rishon
Mon - yom sheni
Tues - yom shlishi
Wed - yom revi' i
Thurs -yom khamishi
Friday - yom shishi
Sat shabat.
A five year old can tell which day it is. Only if the hearts of men will break to see this truth.
