3-2-1 Contact was my favorite television show as a child. I would actually run to the TV to watch, and 30 years later, I still have very clear memories of the material presented on the program. My daughter is the perfect age to watch this, has a deep interest in science, and yet I cannot purchase a DVD set or get it from Netflix. There are many parents like me who would gladly invest in the series, and support new highly motivational children's educational programming in the process.

I think another thing that remained was the idea that it was 3 kids hanging out and having adventures in science together. The later years with David didn't seem to have this same spirit and didn't hold my attention as well. Thank you again Joan and Ozzie for your wonderful show.

I love Joan, but she has forgotten much. 3-2-1's 1st season was produced by Kathy Mendoza, then the budget stopped & the 1st season was re-run for 1 or 2 years. In 1981 season 2 came back on the air with an entirely new crew and cast. The basement became the hangout. The only thing that remained the same was the opening theme, and The Bloodhound Gang. This same crew produced 8 seasons of 3-2-1. In 1988 the money stopped, so did 3-2-1 production.
