  • pqp o cara é doido ,s eu tb faria o mesmo.

  • on some of these i seem to see a slight dorsal fin. is this true, do i see one?

if so then these are not bowheads as they dont have dorsal fins.

also...on my own, albeit uneducated, bowheads dont go to brazil, mostly staying in the acrtic, even for migration. i could be wrong though. could be a southern right whale, which is related and similar to bowheads and can be in that region. and the pectoral fin or flipper looks to long and pointy as bowheads are wider or spatulate.

  • I think Jakedockter is right, these whales (you can see very little of them) are southern right whales (Eubalena australis) portugese Baleia Franca, they are common in southern Brasil (Santa Catalina)and the flipper shape fitts aswell. Bowheads in Brasil would be a sensation, like penguins on North pole.

  • Dear Visitors,

You are absolutely right! I corrected my mistake. These are southern right whales.

    Thanks.
