lET ME GET WITH MY HUBAND ON THIS BECAUSE HE DOES ANSESTRY RESEARCH AND HAS BEEN QUITE SUCCESSFULL FINDING HIS OWN FAMILY MEMBERS I YOU ARE COMFORTABLE LEAVING A NUMER i WOULD ASK HIM TO GIVE YOU FOLKS A CALL AND SEE IF WE CAN GET A NEW AVENUE TO TAKE IF YOU'RE NOT READY TO GIVE UP...
@lilfoxable I HAVE BEEN TRYING AND PAID AN AGENCY TO GET ME INFORMATION BUT THEY SENT ME 50 PAGES OF MEN WITH THE SAME NAME AND LAST NAME FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.. I WENT ONLINE MYSELF , BUT NOTHING EITHER..THE ONLY WAY WOULD BE THRU THE NAVY, BUT THAT IS IMPOSIBLE..SO, I GUESS I WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT HAPPENNED TO HIM...SOMEONE TOLD ME 40 YEARS AGO THAT H E DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT, BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT EITHER..IT'S BEEN SO LONG, THAT I DOUBT I WILL EVER FIND ANYTHING.
WHEN THIS ALBUM CAME OUT, I WAS GOING OUT WITH JOE WILLIAM "BILL" WALTERS FROM JACKSON MISSISSIPPI. A NAVY MAN STATIONED IN MY HOMETOWN IN PONCE, PUERTO RICO..A 6 FOOT TALL LIGHT BROWN HAIR, HAZEL EYES, GOURGEOS MAN.. AND IN NOVEMBER 1966 HE WAS DISCHARGED IN NORFOLK VIRGINIA AND NEVER HEARD FROM HIM.HE MUST BE TODAY, IF HE IS ALIVE, 64 YEARS OLD. HAVE NOT BEING ABLE TO TRACK HIM DOWN, BECAUSE THAT NAME AND LAST NAME IS VERY COMMON IN THE USA. HE WAS BORN IN NOVEMBER 1946 IN JACKSON MISSISSIPPI
This song was released twice 25 years apart. Yes it was number one on the charts both times. Amazing talent l got to see them one time in Oklahoma City late in their career. The_Prince_of_1.
@freznar1 I`m sure they got plenty. They probaly didn`t need this song when they also did You lost that loving feeling. There was plenty of snatch to give that loving feeling for one night.
This was playing the night I met my ex-husband and we danced to it...although I loved it before I met him, I still love this song....(I met my ex when I was 17...)
I've heard so many versions of this song, but no one has come close to topping the 'Brothers.' Righteous, brilliant. One of the best songs ever written about love and loss, along with Jackson Browne's astounding 'for a dancer.'
It's funny cause this is my fav love song ever, then I found out it's my mom's fav love song and my grandma's fav love song! weird, and none of us knew it! I serched this song and all I could find was live versions and finally I found this one! LOVE IT!!!!
@ReplicaRSW It's rare I do this but you can go to the "clickhere4music" & hear the 1991 "timeless love ext. version! It's really special & very beautiful!
This is the original hit version, not the one they used in Ghosts. I think this is the best recording he ever made. I been listening to this song since it came out and I'll never tire hearing it.
KingCodimus -Thanx for your sarcastic comment (you know what they say about sarcasm) - obviously you misunderstood what I meant - I meant are their any such talent 'these days!!!!!' oh yeah I know the beatles - got every album single cd they ever made - along with Rolling stones, the
greatest song - 20th and 21st century - are there any more great singers like those of the fifties and sixties out there? obviously not !! great job we got 'Youtube' to listen and reminisce xxxxxxxxxx
The late, great Bobby Hatfield gave one of the Greatest performances Singing any Song ever in his hit version of "Unchained Melody" in 1965...
25 years later an entirely new generation of listerners were introduced to what has become Bobby's "Signature Song" in the 1990 Hit Movie "Ghost" when Bobby's version became it's Theme Song and what now everyone associates with the movie Ghost...
Bobby deserves for it to be said that this is "His Song" and always will be...
@Clof1959 Thank you for your loving comments about Bobby H., Bob. His heavenly voice transcends everything including time and space...BTW, have you listened to Bill Medley's song, "Beautiful"? That is a wonderful tribute to Bobby and it expresses his deep and lasting love for him. Listening to the lyrics made me cry oceans! Bill also sings "Unchained" when he does his shows, which is also extremely emotional and reveals the unbroken bond between them. So tender and it's really a treasure!
if u listen carefully to the Right speaker you hear the piano banging out parts of the song really belting it, which is great!!

Merci Gaston,j'aime trop cette chanson, mais je ne savais pas que c'étais ce duo qui le chantais.
Combien de fois je l'ai écouté étant petite.
