well let ur itunes open...open it and leave it open...dont open wizard....click ctrl + alt +del

then u know what u have 2 click...then just close itunes like that...then do everything in the video again...hope it works :D

After I run the wizard I go to firmware file then I open the 5G firmware and when I click on write to iPod it comes up with the message Unable to access iPod! Make sure programs who use the iPod like iTunes are closed. EVERYTHING THAT IS USING THE IPOD IS CLOSED. I closed iTunes all the way and i even looked in the task manager and cant find anything else that uses the iPod. Why is this not working for me?

you have to run the ipod wizard as admin otherwise it wont work. Thats why it does that. Just right click the porgram and run as admin

TDASS281 has a good tutorial also...that uses the different firmware...same ipod wizard though...

well if you listened......on your video ipod....if you have a search so you can search an artist or song....you have the 5.5 firmware....if you dont have the search....then you have the 5.0 firmware
