There should never be a stated time line for withdrawal regardless of the military objective. To state a timeline for withdrawal was merely a pandering to the left. Obama has painted himself into a corner. Inside of 2 years, this plan will be labeled as a huge failure. A cockroach(Al qeada) doesnt come out when the lights are on. No way will the troops be coming back in 2011 with Iran and North Korea building nuclear weapons. Obama's pull out date is already being criticized. Saying we should not have a date. Yes I particularly agree about the nuclear conflict potential .... all the more for US relations to be sensitive and diplomacy based .... the US has too be extremely careful it is not "duped" into siding with the hostilities that are growing by the day between Islam and the world .... the Swiss snub of minarets reflects the undercurrents of resentment .. if the US is caught in the cross fires, this will incite a global conflict, which is what some of these extreme groups desire inevitably.
