Wiccans don't fly on brooms at any time of the day or night. "Broom Flying", in reality, was a custom of the witch riding the broomstick through the fields like a child would ride a stick hobbyhorse (sweeping side up!). This act was a blessing on the crops, insuring their fertility.

The word pagan was actually given to us by christians, it was an insult that meant 'non civillised and non christian', i class myself as a spiritual being, close to the nature gods and goddesses, close to nature in a personal solitary way as should be, each of us have a path to follow, a personal journey. some share that with others in groups, others alone like me. a broom is not just a prop, it represents the ancient ways of the wise woman ( basic household items for use to practice the craft), and also can be used for symbolically clearing away negative energy before creating your spiritual workspace for divine work, sabbats festivals or spellworking etc. (most use a besom)... the flying myth came years ago when medieval 'witches', use to use halucigens ( bad spelling) to go into a trace, giving the feeling of flying.Take time 2 read history and learn :)

Wiccans don't fly on brooms at any time of the day or night. "Broom Flying", in reality, was a custom of the witch riding the broomstick through the fields like a child would ride a stick hobbyhorse (sweeping side up!). This act was a blessing on the crops, insuring their fertility.

u dont understand do you. its not about doing stage magic and all that crap. the power is over out own lives. to issue change, spells are prayers that make it psychological easier to accomplish our goals and go through our troubles with out giving up. every pray to god for guidance well its the same thing but we just do it bigger.
