This guy obviously wasn't stabbed very hard/deep. He seems completely fine, probably wasnt stabbed in his actual torso otherwise he'd have spinal immobilization. Not to mention those paramedics are pretty rough with him putting him into the ambulance so they must have not been too concerned.

Legislation made it soo much worse... Now they can legally refuse to work OT. I heard they had to bring in 2 crews from vancouver island on friday night to help with the coverage problems.

@MidnightPolak Yes, but unfortunately all B.C ambulances services are at strike. I hope they can work something out soon.

No it ended last week. Legislation shut it down, Bill 21 or something like that. They're not allowed to strike, even though when they were on strike, they still had to work because of the essential services act. Their contract is up at March 31, 2010, so we'll have to see what happens then.

So basically, it's back to crap pay and limited resources. No big deal.
