I remember looking around at those pedals every year I went to the Dallas Guitar Show back when I didn't know what any of them were! That year, 2008, my friends bought a 1960s Dunlop wah and got some dudes from one of that bands that performed to name it.

2 Things, I go to this show every year so I walked right by the gearmanndude and didn't know it! Which proves he is not Jack Black so quit saying that! 2. Everything at this show is overpriced, I never see anyone selling anything and I have been the last 10 years in a row. In that time I have bought one pedal, an Expandora that I paid 100 dollars for which was a fair price but I had to buy it from the Godlyke booth to get that price...

Seriously guys, Boss are pretty tough and light but they don't get the job done like the originals do. They come pretty close but usually never as good.

A bit of a sweeping statement, if you ask me. There's some great Boss pedals (DC-2, PN-2, etc), some moddable sleeper gems, and, sure, some crap.

they have just never satisfied my tonebone. there effects like delay, reverb, compressor and their tuner pedals are great but when it comes to distortion and other effects like that it usually doesn't exactly get the tone and feel that the originals do. they come pretty close and sometimes better but usually not as good. but the pedals are still built like tanks and come in light weights. they are okay but they have never really satisfied me.

i agree...they are not bad pedals...but arent good either..

id rather wait and save some money and buy one OCD, or a zendrive..or a Keeley comp...than go today and with the same money buy a blues driver, Boss Comp and another cheap pedal.
