i like your generator swap, but as i know form 6V ural and dnepr riders, a heavier generator with more power destroys the weak russian camshaft and genny sprockets.
Nice sound! Is that red light is oil pressure or battery charging indicator? Either way it should turn off even on low revs. For my dnepr the oil pressure indicator turns off even when i'm kicking on kickstarter(when cold ofcourse). Do you know whether driving without mufflers do any harm to engine? I love the sound but i'm afraid that it would harm engine if done often.
As regarding the mufflers it is better for the engine (long term) to run with them. The gas evacuation is faster without them but this could damage the engine...this is my opinion.
As you can see I have on my Ural a pair of K68i Pekar original from Russia not the Ukrainian copy of them. These carbs are grate for Ural or Dnepr. I had no problems with them amd the fuel consumption is about...4.5l at 100 km. The speed was about 70 km/h. Now I have problems with my ignition...

nu ar trebui si niste tobe pe el ? suna excelent :) , dar cred ca e deranjant la drum lung . eu am vrut sa-mi schimb toba pe transalp sa pun una goala , dar m-am gandit ca la drum lung ma sparge , asa ca am renuntat

@HakujinTrue nop but I changed the original one. The new generator was from a Daewoo Tico car. with some adjustments it fits perfectly.

that's very true...it's a very simple machine that you can fix almost on the side of the road...it is very durable if you ride it with max. 80km/h...

Ignition problems are frequent with these bikes. change the iginition coil and cables from an citroen 2CV. with also that type of condensator.
Russian ignition coils are crappy.
For spark plugs i advise NGK B6HS

sounds good! i tried the same carburettors, but the mixture was always too lean, did you manage to get it right?
