When you use specials it drains the red meter at the top, if you attack without the meter recharging you get stunned, its alot like some other fighters like that one dragonball psx game Final Bout. The older Fatal Fury games use to do the same thing. I havn't played this game but it sure looks humorous and like an acid trip.

Though it was hard to look at the bars and play at the same time... It appears to me that the red bar is stamina. When you swing, it goes down. I'm willing to see if sitting still replenishes it faster. I noticed that BEING hit gives you stamina, but that's probably not the best strategy for replenishing the red bar. =P

The reason you keep getting stunned is because the red bar in the top is the thing that let's you attack and move around. If that goes down all the way you get stunned until it goes back up. That is the best way I can explain it.
