such a beautiful animal, im so bummed i had to get rid of mine :/ but like you said, they get big, and are tempermental, and my parents wouldnt let me keep her, especially considering she was 10ft and easily capable of accidentaly killing my dad
@LilySnakeQueen lol I know, i dont really call him that, but I tell people thats his name if they dont know his gender since he's my only real pet snake.
In my opinion, nothing is prettier than a yellow. Amazingly enough, my yellow is calmer than my ball pythons and corn snake. Though she wasn't so calm for the first few weeks... It's also remarkable how much faster the males grow. My female is about a week shy of a year old and nowhere near that large, and she has never refused her weekly meal. Great looking snake, Steve.
@DeltaDave66 Thats because these guy is like my garbage disposal. If i have some rats in the freezer I need to cycle through, I feed them to him. I feed him like medium rats, sometimes even like 5 or 6 adult african soft furrs at a time.
I agree with you on breeding them. They're for serious keepers only. You wouldn't want some kid bringing on home on an impulse. Even though they are the smaller of the two. Great looking animal!!
