It was a team effort. Armstrong couldn't have landed on the lunar surface alone and neither could Buzz. And neither of them could have gotten back to Earth if it wasn't for Michael Collins! I don't think of Buzz as the "second man" on the moon, I prefer to think of both him and Neil as the first. Neil was only first out the door because of protocol, he was the mission commander.

I don't understand why people think the moon landings were faked? They were absolutely real. There is a mountain of evidence -- photos, videos, rocks, etc. and only anecdotal evidence to the contrary.
You can always build shielding to protect against radiation and you can certainly survive fairly high doses of radiation if the exposure time is not prolonged.

Which means you lose the extra 30m/s of velocity or something like that. Don't remember the exact loss. So, you need more thrust (lighten the load) or more fuel for a longer burn. For moon missions this was impossible. The only thing they launch from VAB are satellites.

However, NASA is planning on a new program to succeed the Space Shuttle called Project Constellation. not debating? bullshit. you're totally debating and you know it. stop lying. have the balls to admit that you think the landings were faked. be honest, i'll have respect for that. who did they leave the plaque for? who do you think? be reasonable and unbiased. they left it for posterity's sake. for future generations to know that this was the 'first time'... 'the beginning'. we plan to return to the moon. the successors will see the plaque. we went in the name of peace, not Soviet domination...
