I fell in love with Jeannie in 1968, I was 24 and she was 23.... and I loved EVERYTHING about her. I still do. I fell in love with Reba in 1975... a geeky lookin' tomboy with a DIVA voice. Altho they were born just 300 miles apart, and 10 years... I do not think Reba fashioned herself after Jeannie. Each had a style of their own... and I love both. Yep, I sure am a lucky guy... Reba aged into a beauty like Jeannie, well... different, but both get my full attention.

It breaks my heart that this woman isnt performing much anymore...that she's become a recluse living with her mom and sibilings...she was so beautiful, such a great talent and a GREAT performer. How many people have you heard live that sound this good??? Not many. I love you still, Jeannie C. Riley. Please come home to the spotlight. You have such a place in Country Music history...
