  • I am planning to grow TONS of produce at a new house I bought. The yard is HUGE and I want to put it to good use. How would I go about selling my produce? This is in California. Just what are the steps? This is all natural heirloom produce.

  • not a real farmers market for sure. I only buy at producer-only markets. I am lucky if I can get the farmers to stop talking to me. I doubt all that produce was grown in your area, they just are a spinoff of the grocery stores :( real farmers love to talk to you about their food!

  • This is a yuppie farmers market. All the produce is grocery store produce that is on the verge of expiration. This is not local or fresh. Sad.

  • THe farmers market in Baltimore does not have people yeling at you. She is makes that market seem like a horrible place to shop. Get your food and get out! Most of the farmers markets have very nice people in them.

    and doesn't she know that people don't respond well (or at all in this case!) to "hi, how are you?" b/c it's such a generic question and the person asking usually doesn't give two tits about how the other person is actually doing. it is frustrating, i hate it when strangers/acquaintances ask me that!!

    oh and you should never go food shopping while you're hungry, that's simply common sense!!

  • The Farmers Market is really a great place to get fresh vegetables and fruit. To bad farmers markets are seasonal, our local one only last for a few months.
