Unfortunately, the Duhks appear to be on a semi-permanent hiatus, which is a great loss. This is an exciting, creative band. They feature great instrumental and vocal talents and they've concocted a terrific blend of celtic, roots and new roots folk. Very exciting. Would love to see them regroup and come on down to Texas!

Dan Frechette wrote the lyrics and Leonard Podolak (the banjo player for the Duhks) wrote the music for it, I believe.
